Describe the worse service you ever had at a restaurant?

Wichita pub DONT EVER GO THERE!!!!!!. I was getting a new clutch on my car and it was going to take about 5 hours. So, I decided to walked down to the Wichita and grab some lunch...I sat down and some other ppl sat down...i was there before them...they were 4 guys. (industry area). Anyway, she took their order and just flirting away w/ them...then some other ppl came in and she took there order. I saw her look at me a couple of times. then I waited and waited. She brought out the 4 guys food...it has been about 20 mins now and she hasnt even say hi or brought me water just glances here and there. Then she took someone else's order. So, I went up to the bar very calmly caused I was pissed (I shake when I am very angry and have a hard time control myself), and told the guy that I havent been waited on and a lot of ppl have been and he said he will make sure she comes over. I waited and waited another 10-15 minutes and she came out and started to clean the popcorn machine and she looked right at me and kept on cleaning. I went up to the guy and ask him for a glass of water and I took it over to her and threw it on right in her face (the water not the glass). I told that hag what I thought of her too.

we had just been seated for dinner on a busy Sunday night, and as our waitress was telling us her name and taking drink orders, she threw the coasters at us. we asked her to get her manager and we complained. we got a new server, but every now and then we would catch her glaring at us. the crazy thing is, none of knew what we did to her!!!

I can't give an example because so far, nothing "better happened" to me. I can say "the day i finished highschool" or "The day i had my first kiss." but i remember those were not "good" days, merely days that were better than my worst days. So i will describe what i think it's a "good" day for me:

I wake up after a long and perfect sleep. Rested and fresh. I do all my morning ritual and take a nice breakfast with my girlfriend. Then i go training if i must do them. If i don't have any training for the day, i play the guitar, internet, draw or write or read, or do other stuff, until it's about 4-5 PM. Then i eat a bit and usually go out with friends. We have a great time, stuff, having a lot of fun. I come home, have an awesome sex and go to sleep / watch TV or some internet time This would be labeled as a good and average day for me.

I think you and I view the world a little differently V. Not saying that either is better by any means...just different. I would say I have more better days than bad. There are ones that stick out in my head more than others. I am not sure if it because my job is a very stressful one most of the time or if it just me.

My favorite days are the ones of simple pleasures. To have a wonderful moment and realize that your in it. When it's a perfect night at the Drive In. Starry night with just a hint of breeze. My bare feet hanging out the window. Catching just that last little bit if the sunset.
Little baby butterflies buzzing me while out on my walk.
Sitting out on the patio, reading a book and watching the laundry blow on the line.
Having a little boy at the park coming running up to me, giving me the violet he picked from the grass.
Taking care of the people I love, because in turn they take care of me...online or real world.
Enjoying a lemonade popsicle on a very hot day.

Coming here allows me to see everyone and their different perspectives on life. I want to thank you V for showing me yours. If you were here with me, I would hand you a lemonade popsicle.

That is most kind of you I was actually feeling pretty down lately but you made me "remember" those things that also make me happy. A rain in a hot day, clouds in the sky, a walk or jog in the nearby forest, especially at sunset, when you drink cold water and it tastes so good.
There are so many things i can come up with, it actually put a smile on my face.
I'm a pessimistic person; I always tend to see the bad side of things, yet your simple comment made me feel a lot better.

i don't really remember the first time - but i do remember the recent one
which was about 10 months ago.
it was job related and i sat the guy down in front of my boss and said what i needed to say. i don't go behind their backs - i make sure they're there to listen to my words - so that they know i'm not making any of it up. lol long story short - that guy changed for the better

Yes, several times, a couple while being interviewed for a news program ( my job at the time was at a political agency involving consumer protection). A couple of times being interviewed at sporting events, and a couple of times being part of footage of some social events.

What motivates you to be your best?

I'm really hard, if not impossible, to motivate. Most people say "You have to do that for your own good, for yourself, for blah blah" Bitch the only thing someone has to do is to die. Anything else is prone to change and matters not in the end.
Though, there are a FEW things that will motivate me to do something. My girlfriend is one of them. Knowing i made her smile melts my heart like a volcano melts a stone. The other are my parents. Knowing i did something and made them proud also makes me proud.

What is one common thing that saddens you?

saddest movie i can think of, to give an example, was "I am Sam" i cried in that part when He lost his daughter in court... smh.
so i guess its when people are so close together and they get forced apart like Romeo and Juliet.

hmmm, who to be and why? I don't think I'd want to be anyone else, since the grass is never really greener. But I wouldn't mind being like cathe friedrich. (She's a kick-ass fitness instructer, btw, and I happen to be an exercise DVD junkie!) She's got a killer upper body, plus the independence and intelligence to be the master of her own business empire and still makes sure her kids get precedence. I guess I'd like to be like her because she's got confidence and is totally respectable.
