going fishing

in the dream me and some female relatives of mine were visiting the shores.

they went for a picnic I think but I saw a few fisherman doing something strange. instead of using fishing poles they used a line and a hook only to fish.

I decided to join in and asked for the equipment from one of them, I was told that if I wanted big fish I had to throw farther. I got ready and threw the hook as far as I could.

oddly that's when my female relatives came to "help" by hanging on to the line, I had to push them away because I could feel a fish tugging it. I think one of them mentioned they were helping me so I had to share the fish but at that moment I just couldn't ignore the tugging and really pushed them away and started pulling the line in.

it felt like a really big one but when I finally pulled it out of the water I found out it was a cute dolphin I can't eat that so I gave him a little pat on the head and returned him to the water.

my second catch was a huge cat fish that was trying to bite me so I took out all it's teeth
again the fisherman told me I had to throw this one back after I've shaved it's scales, it was no good.

when I didn't know how to shave it he did it for me.

It does seem as if what you have attracted through being aggressive is two specimen that are not useable. So what might this dream actually be addressing?? I will say for certain you pursuing or have pursued opportunities that do not fill your requirements. Freud would likely say that this is a dream that lays out sexual endeavors that have not gone well. I am not Freudian but I will say that you have definitely landed someone or something that is not to your standard. Yes it could be business or job opportunities, and yes, it could be entrepreneurial (but the symbolism does not really support entrepreneurial pursuit)...The dolphin is a creature of the sea. they"actively" develop relationships with humans and are often believed to represent the contact and relationship we have with the unconscious forces within us, suggesting that life dies not operate blindly. Life reaches out to us if we reach out to it. The encounter with the dolphin in the context that you have mentioned represent being in touch with the energies of life within all things.

ok that was WoW

not sure how accurate that is since alot of my dreams tend to project future events -which I only notice after all is said and done- but as long as it shows something positive I'm all for it


I have been keeping an open mind as I have decided on a career change recently, no opportunities or anything so glamours yet but rather then do the same thing over and over again hoping for a different outcome I'm exploring new venues and listening to new people who have been down this road before. lets see how it goes, still not sure it's for me but if I don't try it out at least I'd never know
