my bf's best girl friend

A little background info: One of my boyfriend's closest friends is a girl. Which was cool with me, except she has liked him for the past 2 years. It doesn't seem to affect him, but it recently has begun to greatly affect me. Just insecurities and all.
Anyway, she's been on vacation and I had a dream last night that she came back home (which is weird because I just found out that she did come home last night). I was with my mom and we were in what appeared to be some sort of school, or maybe an airport. Then I saw her with her friend, and my boyfriend walks up and puts his arm around her. They're standing by a blank wall that's at their right, and there's a dark hallway on their left. I'm standing in front of them at the top of a ramp, and the hallway or corridor that we're in continues behind them. They talk and look like they're having polite conversation. But she doesn't have that smile that she normally has around him. She looks up at him and her mouth is smiling but her eyes are sad.
I'm standing at the top of the ramp and I start walking down it towards them, and he sees me. He then starts smiling and comes over to me, puts his arm around me, and leaves her behind. He looks sincerely happy and we walk away together down the hallway that they had been standing by.

I've had past dreams with her in them and I know it's because I'm jealous of her and all that crap, but I don't understand his actions in this. I don't get why I would dream this if I'm unsure of his feelings and his happiness in this. It's like her and I switched roles from past dreams in this one. Why?
