you giving consent. Then the male self is acting out what you might want which is safer than allowing an unknown male to "take over" your

If they want to be raped, is it actually rape? I'm wondering if this is a rape fantasy or if it is more like what the S&M community calls "ravishment" ie: consensually acting out power fantasies without violating anyone's consent. I always encourage people, if they are having dreams about the sex they don't assume they are attracted to, to make sure they are closing that door for the right reasons. I am a lesbian who used to identify as straight and always had dreams about women. People would say "oh you're dreaming about aspects of yourself, psychology, you're not ready for a relationship with a man so you're projecting." It turned out that I actually just liked girls.
