Witch, Satan!?

when i was a little boy, i used to be so good at recalling my nightmares... and the imagaes still haunt me- i used to have frequent nightmares of a witch who would apear out of know where. sometimes in a dark alley, sometimes she would apear when i was in a car outside my window... This witch used to haunt me so much i even had brief halusinations of her while awake, this went on till i reached the age of 10 i think... What was this witch trying to tell me, did i simply out run my problem or did i resolve it i dont know. And anouther weied dream that i remeber, of going down a rollocoster into Satans Mouth... Im not making this up but i wish i had but i had this dream at the age of 6 i think! I just want to understand what on earth do they mean!

Kids are raised to fear the witch on Halloween...in the wiccan tradition, this Holiday is the beginning of the Winter Solstice (I think...I can't recall) and it's called Hallow's Eve. Witches are pretty harmless...they don't ride a broom or have green hair (unless they swim and get the chlorine in their hair) or green skin. They practice pagan rituals and ascribe to the idea of harm ye none and none will harm ye. If they put hexes on people, they're shunned by the coven (twelve witches and the wizard) and then they're screwed and have to own up to their sins and quit being hateful.
It's thirteen o-clock the witching hour is a book I'm writing in which the clock struck thirteen. I know some have triskadecaphobia (I don't know if I spelled it right, and I'm too lazy to check on google). People that fear the number thirteen or fourteen may be scared of gangmembers. Witches are not gangmembers, nor am I one. It's just a comic book I read recently entitled the Witching Hour made me think. The witching hour is a time of dreams and predilections and premonitions when witchery is in the air, like after midnight when you're sleeping like a baby and attuned to your subconscious and mysticism.
I don't ascribe to the Rosemary's Baby thing about a babe being born as a child of Satan...moms and dads are not Satan, and babies are a gift from God (little bundles of joy) and I'm talking about ALL babies being miracles from Heaven, black or white.
I know some believe in demonic possession and I don't buy it. I think if someone's angry it could be for environmental reasons or genetics or someone feeling alienated. I get mad and I don't get in physical altercations with men or women...I go run around the block and cool off and I don't believe in violence. Violence solves nothing and continues a ridiculous cycle of violence that perpetuates itself. Wanting to hurt someone is like chasing your tail around and it goes nowhere, and it is better to have compassion and forgiveness, because when you're hurting others you're hurting yourself and part of what you see in others is a projection, like a mirror. If you look into another's eyes, you may be looking into your own soul. I can see how fights happen, but I'm against them. I hope you have a nice day and keep smiling.

Thank you for your help, but may i ask this. Do you not think that fighting for someone you love is a sin, or even killing someone who you know will never change due to insanity or other things for the sake of others lifes. I think killing or fighting is bad, and even when it's the right thing should never be enjoyed. Do you get what i mean?

It's against the spiritual laws and also the laws of the land to kill another human being. There is a lot of bad karma that comes to people that murder others. I just think if you're mad at someone, you ought to run around the block, cool off, and rethink it. I think it's a big NO NO to harm another human being. Have a nice day.

But what if you have no other opotunity, im not saying it should be enjoyed or celeabrated. But if it is for the greater good of man kind, are you saying we should not of fought Hitler. And let him carry out the mass slauter he did (and no i dont think he was evil, i think he was missguided into thinking what he did was right)

You are a bright one. It is all about living with your own moral, ethical code. I took some philosophy classes in college. I didn't get a Hell of a lot out of them, but what struck me is Descartes' quote: "I think therefore I am". What elevates us above barbaric behavior and savagery is to think and be rational above the din. We can be individuals and come up to our own conclusions. Being a free thinking person and not going with the crowd on every matter is what makes you brilliant and cool...learn to love your independent, open minded nature.
We are not animals...I mean, we are mammals, but beyond that we have to be logical and should not get carried away by the mob mentality. For example, if everyone hates a girl and thinks she's a witch, must we act on it? For all you know, she could be the nicest, sweetest one and a buffer or a scapegoat...I'm just saying that we have to get beyond the idea of what "everyone" thinks and come to our own conclusions. That was part of the idea behind the book the Crucible, that a witchhunt took place to demonize or villify people and persecute them.
There are reasons people kill others, to defend their country, etc. I'm just talking about if you're mad at someone you know, like an enemy, should you take a gun to them? I think the answer is a flat out no. It is for you to decide what is black and white and shades of grey in the matter. I'm not some wise woman, some saint, that can tell you what's right and wrong...it is up to you, how you want to see the world.

One more thing...I think you are on the right track. I mean, there are reasons people kill people. There's a verse in the Bible that says, "Thou shalt not kill." I mean, I am not going to be sanctimonious and hypocritical and say that killing Hitler was wrong (I don't think it was wrong...he was a madman and a sociopath). What I'm saying is that most of the time in life it is wrong to solve problems with violence. Kids watch these violent video games and think shooting people is the answer and they are misled by all of that. Kids need to communicate and find healthy ways to cope with anger toward their peers and school bullying is not the answer.
You have to form your own opinions and pretty soon you'll be an adult and ready to vote. If people are apathetic and don't care, then who will make their choices for them? I believe in peace and nonviolence...I really don't believe in an eye for an eye. The legal system says that a suspected criminal will face justice by getting a fair trial and then the court chooses what to do.
I'm not a Nazi and I've never been to Germany. I'm definitely not condoning what Hitler did to innocent Jews...what he did was wrong and he was killed for his war crimes or maybe it was a suicide. I don't really know a lot about the Holocaust, but I know that genocide is wrong, particularly based on race or religion.

I'm kind of psychic sometimes, but other times I'm way off in left field. You seem like an intellectual, a pretty smart cookie. I mean, I kind of have ADD (attention deficity disorder), so I didn't get a lot out of some of my philosophy classes, but I definitely understood the role of integrity and honesty in our lives.
In defense of the witch, because I've met practicing witches in my life, and see them as kind and misunderstood, just because a lot of people hate her doesn't mean there's any rational explanation for it.
I'm kind of a social outcast and occasionally practice witchcraft, but most of the time, I see myself as Catholic or Christian, and I feel like a lot of people despise me. I mean, I'm not well liked around here. A lot of people think I'm a troublemaking bag lady or a weirdo. I just live my life and figure who cares what people think? I try to be nice to people and not get into altercations.
I have a friend who I'm madly in love with and he's a Satan worshipper and so very kind. He gave me flowers and hugged me and made me feel loved when I was down and out, so I just do not see that satan worshippers or witches are evil at all. There are good and bad Christians and Catholics like anyone else...some people get all holier than thou because of their belief in God and think they're better than other based upon their religion. I think just because someone's baptized or a member of the Church doesn't make them better than others or kinder...it is a free country and people should be able to worship whatever they wish on American soil.
I could go out and worship the Easter bunny if I like. Is it really anyone's business what I do in my own home? If I want to use tarot cards and meditate, that's my business.
Just keep an open mind and try not to let the crowd sway you or tell you what to think. You could be brainwashed or misled by a lot of hype that isn't true! Have a nice day.
