Little girl crushed by car

I had the most awful nightmare of a little girl about five, running into a one way two lane street that my boyfriend and I were driving on. We slammed on the breaks and stopped in time but as she ran further into the street. We drove forward and I looked behind us to see another car coming. I screamed and then I heard a crunch... I jumped out of our moving car to run to her and saw a bloody mess as she screamed in terror and pain... I have no kids but I have a strong mothering instinct... What does this mean? I woke up horrified and in tears to quickly rush to the bathroom to get sick... Help please!

Your subconscious created the dream to wake you up very quickly because you needed to be sick. It is very dangerous to vomit during sleep as the sleeper might choke, sothe subconscious creates a violent nightmare to wake the sleeper.
The question you should ask yourself; what made you feel sick? Perhaps something you ate or drunk before sleep?

Thanks for your reply.
The subconscious often tries to conceil the cause of the dream from the sleeper. So you can be absolutely certain that it was the threat of vomitting that caused the dream and the other way round. Cosider that the subconscious has no language of its own and has to create the dream scenario to compel the sleeper to do the necessary action.
BTW, are you in the early stages of pregnancy? Morning sickness perhaps?
