found scissors in my hand when I woke up

I usualy sleep on my side with my hand(s) under the pillow. One morning I woke up and I realized that I was holding something. I moved my hands out from underneath the pillow, and I'm holding scissors. Before I went to bed I was wearing some new pajamas, and I used the scissors to cut off the tag and put them on top of my dresser. Why do you think I had them?? o_O

ask someone at home if they put that scissors under your pillow. Both the scissors and your hand were under that pillow.

You were sleepwalking and picked up the scissors to protect yourself. I think you're scared and feeling unnerved by a situation in which someone is behaving in a greedy manner.

you probably sleep walk alot but just dont know it because you do normal things, either you subconscious decided to have some alone time without you or you were really awake but just dont remember. i sleep walk alot, my parents will come wake me up and ill be talking and walking around but when they leave ill crawl back into bed, when they wake me again i wont remember a thing. sometimes i do stuff like that when im awake, ill do something strange without thinking and wonder why i did it and what i was thinking (kindov like auto pilot). you were probably just reapeating what you did before you fell asleep, as long as you dont do anything bad it should be fine.

I come from a nice family and my parents are good folks, and unfortunately if you act weird people will assume your family is nuts, which they aren't. I have slept walked many times and unfortunately people will go and blame others for the erratic behavior.
Most likely you are just acting out in your sleep and this behavior will end soon. It happened to me many times in college and now I never sleep walk, but occasionally. This could just be a phase you're going through. Have a nice day and warm regards.
