Recurring and continuing dream

Postby Amybabyturner on Thu May 17, 2012 3:15 pm

Im sorry this is quite long, but please PLEASE read it, i need help, please.
I haven't slept properly in about 5 days now and I'm hitting the stage of blacking out without really knowing its happening. I'm having the worst nightmares... I never know if I'm asleep or not, because they feel so real.
Basically, ever since I was a little girl, I've had nightmares about shadow men. They would chase me and sometimes hurt me and I was scared of the idea of them for years. I just turned 16 and my nightmares have come back with a vengeance... I'll be awake and I'll just drift off without noticing, so I think I'm still awake an the shadow men will come and do horrible, horrible things. Each dream I have, I'm killed in a different way, and every time I'm killed, I can literally feel the pain and I actually die.
The kind of things that happen.. I was in my bed, I must have dropped off but I dreamed I was still awake and I turned around and there was a shadow man in the bed next to me. He raped me, then he slit my throat and watche whilst I died. Another time, I dreamed a shadow man set me in fire and then peeled off my skin for hours on end, smiling whilst I cried.
Recently though, because I've been too scared to sleep, I've started randomly blacking out. I was washing up a knife and I fell asleep standing up without realising.. I dreamed that I looked up, saw a shadow man in the reflection on the window, smiled and slit my wrists. Then today I've been falling asleep at shook and dreaming that a shadow man has ripped out my fingernails, or broken all of my limbs, or drowned me. Apparently, I shake when I'm having nightmares but aside from that don't make any noise or movement. I'm so tired, I keep getting so scared I'll fall asleep and I really need help, please.

I will do my best to help you. But you have to be willing to LISTEN, and believe me.
You are astral projecting. This occurs when the seven chakras are open and aligned, and your astral body leaves the physical body. This is completely natural: EVERYONE does it. You, however, are experiencing it consciously. Makes me envious :D
Now, what I believe is happening is that when you 'dream', you are automatically fixated on negativity, and these entities. Thus, you are attracting negativity through fear, and FEEDING them. Now, we will put a stop to this. Here is what I want you to do:
1) Do some research on the chakras. Know how to use these in a positive manner. This WILL help immensly.
2) Before you sleep/do anything, imagine yourself surrounded by white light. This will keep negativity away, because it says that you are protected.
Not all spirits are evil. Try to focus on angels, positive energy, light giving you protection. If these entities are encountered, please do your best to NOT FEAR. Try to block out these thoughts. Positive energy makes those things run back to Hell.
Please let me know if you need more help, I will be more than happy to lend it. Remember, RESIST. Anger and fear will only feed them.
Some will call me insane. 'Yer just dreamin, its not real!' Last time I checked, this kind of thing is not simply dreamt.
You are stronger than them. Feel it, know it, and be it.
My prayers are with you.

I know about chakras, I see auras so I totally get where you're coming from. I tried some grounding stuff and its not worked...

Alright. If grounding is not doing the trick, then I want you to try to imagine ONLY positive things. Try making affirmations of dreams you want to have. I believe it is not working for you because you doubt it will actually make preventative measures, thus does nothing.
Much easier said on my end, I understand.
If all this fails...then try to look into yourself. Shadow men, I believe, are mental manifestations of some extremely significant insecurity, and therefore they 'hurt' you. And this pain is very real because you have let this insecurity grow.
For instance, I read something similar about someone who would be rescued by a 'prettier' version of her. Then, at some point, she stopped appearing, and these shadow men took full advantage.
One thing that struck me was that here, they did not attack until she became angry. Anger is a form of fear, which naturally fuels these entities. It was only when she touched them, and felt a WARMTH that these things were repelled. Literally repelled from her.
What I want you to do is look at the specific thing that a shadow man did, and take a look at its dream meaning. Why rip off fingernails? Why burn your body? Why not do the same thing? I think there is a hidden message here that will help you find the catalyst of this.
And after that: fill yourself with love and acceptance. You need to remind yourself that you deserve happiness as much as anyone else. You also need to tell yourself that this is not a 'curse.' Rather, it is a gift that you have not learned to completely harness yet.
And try to 'feel' the warmth that comes with these affirmations. Even if you must do this mentally, it is better than nothing.
Let me know if this helps at all. If not, I will look further into it.
My prayers are with you. You are NOT alone.

Hi...

I'd like to know if those suggestions worked to resolve Amybabyturner's sleep problem?

So far, not much progress. All I know is that any thoughts and feelings in 3rd dimensional reality correlates with our experiences in the fifth dimension, where dreams occur. Grounding techniques do help to alleviate the mind from negativity, but there must be a belief that one is under no harm, nor will be. I believe shadow men are associated with a haunting insecurity; so much so that it has affected physical reality to a great extent. Thus, I believe the 'pain' is felt to be very real, because the brain has accepted the pain of the insecurity as real. It could very well be so emotionally traumatizing, that the body itself becomes deteriorated and malnourished. Is is said that bad foods and sporadic pains will cause nightmares, so this emotional damage may manifest itself as the shadow men. One large problem with this is that the negativity becomes an expectation, almost to the point of inevitability. That is what I want to extinguish. I want the possibility to begone completely. Negative entities feed of of such. No food, no reason to come. No negativity, no thought of such, no reason to come out.

No matter if you're astro projecting or not, you need to protect yourself... and if all your chakras are aligned and "open"... the need for protection is even bigger...

Here are some of the tips that I, myself, use coz I've gone through similar things in the past...

The first thing you need to know is that, although imagining a white light is good for clearing out all negative energies, once you've used the white light you need to use another color right after it otherwise your chakra stay in an unstable state... I personally like to use the "Electric Blue" color since it's associated with Archangel Micheal and I feel I have a strong connection to him... You could also use purple/violet since it's the crown chakra's color... I prefer using colors that are associated with the higher chakras...

I don't know if you know that, besides the chakras in our body, we have other chakras - for example, chakras above our head -.

So, what I suggest here is that you picture yourself in an golden egg big enough to encompass you and your chakras... the gold color is a protective color and so if you imagine that its shiny outside, then whatever comes at you will be reflected back to the sender - like a mirror reflects back our own image -.

Once you did the egg thing, then imagine clearing out the negative with the pure white light, and follow that with being filled with electric blue light - so there won't be any white light anymore, just you bathed in electric blue light and protected with the golden egg -...

Then make sure that you ground yourself properly... I assume you already know how to do that... but do you also, whilst in the process of grounding yourself, get energies from Mother Earth (Gaia) coming from the bottom of your feet, and energies coming from the universe, coming from the crown chakra? That might help energize you a bit ;)

Another VERY important thing that you really need to get through your head is the fact that they can't hurt you in anyway if you don't allow them to! You're stronger than them! So don't give your power away!

The other trick that I got is that you have to imagine a zipper running along the top of your head (where the crown chakra is)... imagine that it's wide open... now, imagine that you close that zipper shut!... That should help, too, to keep negative stuff away... Know that you can open and close the zipper whenever you feel like it... YOU are in control of it... and so, when you feel like using your gifts, you can simply and easily open the zipper... then, when you're done, you close it as simply and easily as when you opened it...

Remember that everything bounces of the surface of the golden egg (golden bubble)... nothing sticks to it and all the negative things disintegrate and become white light (a bit like white fireworks)... You don't want the negative things to be sent back to the sender though, coz you never know if that person or entity will say "send back to sender" too (which would, at that moment, mean "you" - and would create an incessant back and forth of those negative energies)... So it's better that they get pulverized into white light just for safe measure ;)

Hope this helps...
