Remembering every detail

Postby Vulcanoid on Fri May 11, 2012 11:21 am

I don't know if this method is already known or not, but i found it on my own. A method to remember every small detail about my dreams.
It's actually pretty simple. All you have to do is wake up every 3 or so hours (no clock or alarm or anything)
I have a pretty weird habit of sleeping and i wake up on my own every few hours, then go back to sleep mere minutes after. My program is pretty stable and i can do that at any time. Every since i started to wake up during my sleep, I'm able to remember every detail about my dreams, and sometimes they become so vivid and real, i even sense the taste of something i eat during one, or feel fatigue if i exercise in a dream.... It gets pretty intense and it's frickin' awesome.

What about you?
Be good. And if you're not, be good at being bad

I can recall most of my dreams, not in full detail but for the most part. I have never tried to journal any of them or go back and re examine them, and I wake up every few hours each night anyhow, work related reasons.
A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.

My memory is better with dreams than waking life lol

Lately though my dreams have been messy, flashes of images rather than a story of some kind.

Once I'm sleep, the only 3 things to wake me are lucien, earthquake or my alarm.

I used to put a lot into interpreting my dreams. The more I thought about them, the more vivid they would become. I started a dream journal where I'd write down what I did that day before I went to sleep. Then, in the morning I would write down my dreams. I started to see a correlation between what I did during the day to my dreams at night. Now that I know myself pretty well and how my dreams work, I don't really pay much attention to them. If I have one I'm like "oh yeah" I did that yesterday. Occasionally I will have a vivid dream that I focus on. I do miss my familiar though :( When I thought about my dreams all the time I had a black cat frequent them. I'll probably see it tonight since I just talked about it.

:? Work related issues?

Stress related. Not really wanting to detail, if you don't mind.
