I don't understand this dream

Postby disturbia007 on Wed May 09, 2012 3:00 pm

I dream of being driven by an ex boyfriend to my old house that I grew up in. There are children that I don\'t know in the back of the car and they're kind of restless. I get out of the car to walk into the house. I see a framed picture of my younger self with a girl I don\'t know. I start crying and saying that they left everything the way it was. Then my dad gives me a hug from behind and I wake up.

Any help with interpreting this will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks :)

I will do my best,
What strikes me is that this is an ex. It would appear that these restless kids are the 'children' inside you that are dying to get out, and I assume that these feelings were associated with this particular individual. This is telling me that you crave to let go of the mundane and live carefree again. The photo may very well be the 'child' version of you. A father is an authoritative figure, and if he is comforting you, then perhaps seeking advice from him would be best. The house is the inner YOU. All this resides in YOU. You want excitement, fun, and cannot stand the stress of daily living. I would personally suggest meditation.
Close your eyes, and focus on relaxing your body. This is best done through deep breaths. Inhale, and imagine all the stress filling your lungs. Exhale forcefully, excersize the negativity. Then visualize your ideal future, and put all your positivity into these thoughts. It does help, I do it regularly.
I hope this helps :D
