I was down by my barn looking into a clay planter filled with water, kind of squatting looking into it. I put my index finger in and something grabbed it. It was a small gray crab that attached itself. I was trying to pull it off and shake it back into the water when i felt something attach itself just above my heart. I was slightly panicked. A car came down the driveway and a man got out . I asked him to help me. It turned out he was a doctor. He discovered a snake was attached just above my heart. I saw its tail at the bottom of my shirt and asked the dr. to please get it off me. I saw the snakes eyes and the snake itself was a pretty orange and cream color. He got it off of me. Next i was walking toward my house (which wasnt my house) I entered through the garage There were 1 or 2 woman sitting at a kitchen table. I showed them the marks left by the snakes which were little pin holes above my heart, I also had scratches lower on my left chest from the crab. They werent real concerned nor was I . I was relieved to have gotten the snake off. I never saw the dr. again

I guess you are feeling under threat in some way. The crab as an image symbolises cancer. Do you have a fear around cancer in your life or the life of a friend/ family? The fact that it attacks you just above your heart may reflect that it is affecting your emotional core. There is also a fear that the snake will get inside you thus bringing something evil. Could the snake as an image of the penis also relate to fears around a sexual situation? Just a few thoughts...

I agree with Nitmare but I belive that the snake peircing just above your heart my involve something more then just emotional did someone brake up with you recently and some personality or phsyical charecteristic symbolizing the snake in any way?

The crab to me usually symbolizes strength so the fact thatyou overcame the snake means that you have incresed your self asteem. my final word is did the doctor resemble anybody you oursel know personally?

Thank you for replying. However, i do not believe this to be sexual in anyway. I have faced tremendous challenges the last 3 years. Have been betrayed by people I trusted. I just had an auto accident 2 weeks ago and have been in pain, car totaled and unable to work. I have been very isolated as I live in the country and have had no vehicle. So I must rely on others if I need anything. Been very depressed.
