Waking up to strange smells after nightmares

Postby BloodWolf on Tue Apr 10, 2012 5:35 am

Not to long ago around 3 in the morning, I woke up to the smell of sulfur. But it's not the only smell I have woken up to, I have woken up to the smell of burning flesh and hair. It always seems centered around my room or where ever I sleep, but there no pinpoint of where it's coming from.
The nightmares are always surrounded by dark forces pinning me, and I am always unable to speak/yell or even move. Sometimes I am chased by some odd looking creatures that always have a negative force around them, even the atmosphere is heavy. (these are the only nightmares I have trouble interrupting)

Hi,
It is bad to be woken at 3AM! Perhaps it is your fast food diet that is causing the dreams? The sleep paralysis dreams are usually caused by some stress or tiredness. Perhaps you should have a health check about the smells.

Is it because it's called the Witching Hour? What fast food diet? I have had other people in my family check out the smell in my room and they can smell the same thing. So I find it a bit odd.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
The subconscious is extra sensitive to smells and odours, especially those it's not used to. So if others can smell it it must be in your room and should be investigated. It mighjt be an electrical fault somewhere.
