Killer Bees

So, I first have to say, I am a new member to this site. I have been coming to this site though for years, for insight. But this dream was scary, and for once this site DID NOT have the interpretation.
I was in my Grandmothers home. And I am driving outside. and then I feel this HUGE wave of negative energy. And I look up. and this wave of DARK is approaching. I drive back quick. and get to the gate.and run in and this woman....she looks like like my grandma but waaaaaay younger ....she waves me in. I remember going into the house.And when I dream of HER house I smell and feel EVERYTHING...it was one of my homes. Then they kept attacking...so we boarded the windows and doors.....but the people inside were unhappy with this. They said we we're lying. nothing was there.
We kept trying to hide. But they kept getting through. Then I woke up.

In reality, dreams, at the very least, offer insight from in higher degree. Some refer to it as higher intuition...

Having said this, the symbolism in your dream portrays this by casting you in starring role, and your grandmother (symbolic of inner wisdom) in a strong supporting role. In essence your dreaming mind (same as unconscious mind) is telling you to learn to depend on your gut level intuition because it could be instrumental in keeping you from harm...even when others do not fathom that harm is in the neighborhood.
And yes, dreams often use metaphor and word play to illustrate parallel stories that when over laid to our waking life apply.
