Silent thoughts,
Secret things,
Secret dreams,
Words you don't dare speak,
For fear of losing them,
On a breath of wind,
There,
Then gone,
As if they never were.

Perching on the windowsill,
Quiet and serene,
What might you be looking at,
Through the scatched and crossed screen,
But birds chirping in the yard,
Wary of your watching eyes.

"scratched and crossed screen" I like that. That line really caught my eye. Much more imaginative than just screen.

Death proceeds.

Claws red with blood.
