Learning that i like the music i like because every time i listen i get a dopamine fix. :lol:

And after thinking about it and processing it through several filters that told me i should rebel against anything my brain does for me automatically on a regular basis, I told myself to just shut the hell up and listen to some Relient K and Augustana. Because honestly if the lyrics suck i'm just not going to listen to your catchy tune Lady Ga Ga.

Okay now i have to wonder if that made any sense to anyone else at all....

Makes perfect sense to me! Music always makes me smile, and it has done so multiple times today already! Mastering a diffictult lick on the guitar made me smile today. Just gotta take that stuff to heart and appreciate the little things, I guess. Also, your post made me smile, cause I identified with it. Thanks!

i decided to make a stop at this one store to see if they had anything good. sometimes you can find really good deals on stuff, especially in the grocery area, if you go at the right time. they had these huge boxes of fruit-by-the-foot fruit snacks. a 42 pack for $6. so, i grabbed two boxes. i also found a 45 pack of assorted snack crackers/cookies for $6.50, so i grabbed a box of that too. score!

I made up a poem a while ago that i sort of sing/say to one of the girls i watch all the time, and the fact that she loves it makes me smile. She askes me to say it all the time, and funny thing is i didn't really think it was finished, but the more i say it, the more i like it the way it is.

We're off to see the moon mice,
For the moon is made of cheese!
They nibble on it all night long,
And sleep all day with ease.

They'll play their fiddles all night long,
And dance until it's noon!

Really just a random bit of nonsense i spouted one day while pushing her on the swing. I ended up writing it down so i could memorize it.

today my mom finally came over to help me with some yard work, as part of a deal after i had helped her do some painting in her house. although we didn't get a whole lot done, we did clear out one section. there are two stumps i have been wanting to get rid of, and although i wasn't planning on getting those out today, one turned out to be rotten and came out easily. that made me happy. later i cooked up some lunch for us, and it just tasted exceptionally good.
