Some questions on lucid dreaming? :P

Postby Swiftlyhere on Sun Mar 11, 2012 1:51 pm

Okay so last night I had 3 very interesting lucid dreams that were my strongest so far. The first one happened when I awoken at 3am and tried to go back to sleep, then as I laid there I noticed my body was starting to be pulled from underneath. Like some force was just grabbed my feet and dragged me into the dream world. This always happens before I begin any of my lucid dreams, because I never dream and then realize I'm dreaming. Can anyone explain why this happens?

In one of my lucid dream, when it started I "woke up" in my room, and when I went outside in the living room everything seemed like ultra realistic, like it wasn't even a dream! I never had experienced such vividness in my dreams so far, but then when I tried to change the setting and and summon people it doesn't work? I went outside of my house and I tried to make a car appear, but after shouting it a couple times it still isn't there, lol. So I got really frustrated and then woke myself up >_> Are there any tips to improve these powers in the dreams? I always thought that once you're lucid you become like the creator of everything like how it was in Inception.

thats all thanks ;D

First part: I don't know why this happens, but it has to me before too. It happened to me that way most of the time, when I was first trying to induce them. My theory is that you know you are falling asleep, but you don't do anything about it and that lets you maintain awareness that you are asleep. I only started to realize I was dreaming mid-dream was after I started to remember my dreams that were not lucid.

Second part: I always find it easier to be vague. Like, with the car, if all you need is a ride somewhere then you don't necessarily need a car to just appear; you only need (or want) a car. So, maybe a taxi comes around the corner or one of your friends shows up asking you to go somewhere or maybe it's your birthday and your relatives decide to give you a car as a gift.

Hope that helps somewhat.
