A fire put out with Holy water

OK, this is my very first post...ever. I just came across this yesterday b/c i have been having really weird dreams lately and was hoping to find some answers. I feel like i'm at a crossroads in my life and hoping to find some definite answers in my subconsious, but i can't figure out what it's telling me. My dreams just seem more vivid lately. Last night i had a dream that i was at a funeral. I think it was an supposed to be an uncle, but i didnt recognize the people there. Somehow behind me, one of the funeral programs caught on fire. So it was a small fire. When i turned to look at it, all of a sudden i had a saucepan in my hand....at a funeral!!??? I dipped the pan into the Holy Water and filled it up, doused the fire, then i woke up. Can anyone interpret this??

Hmm.. trying to definite answers to dreams is like this dream. Pouring Holy water on the burning questions at a funeral.

But it is written: John answered them all, "I baptize you with water, but one more powerful than I am is coming - I am not worthy to untie the strap of his sandals. He will baptize you with Holy Spirit and fire. (NET -Luke 3:16)

The choice of a crossroad is something you have to decide and believe in.

Would like to add, that it appears that there is a situation with an acquaintance or distant friend that seems to be the hot spot. Funerals can symbolically point to different things but since you are at a crossroads, funerals are likely to point to the fact that you are in the midst of change (putting to rest things that you do not need in your life). You are simply having trouble with one of those changes and you are changing your behavior with this person to something a bit more acceptable.

I am not into lucid dream as much as I am into prophetic dreams, as lucid goes to making choices in dreams and prophetic to me goes to messages and codes... as a "house" tends to mead your body .. black spiders with diamonds on their backs (black widow) that bite your index finger is something to do with poison or bad with your finger over the world wide web
(could be someone that send you the finger or you send someone the poison finger) It's a coded message as it eats someone up or sucks the life out of them... "your momma wears combat boots!"

Sounds easy enough, just make a decision huh?

Talk about hitting the nail on the head. There is trouble with those changes b/c of how many lives it will effect if i go thru with it. Do i be selfish? UUUgghhhhh!! LOST

Gus, can i just say, i love your use of emoticons. I love the fact that i can get some responses on here too. It helps to have an outlet with some people knowledgable on the subject. I actually kind of look forward to my dreams lately. I think it's the altered reality.

Maybe there is something to say in the program that has a bad end
as... if you continue in that form there will be hell to pay
So the worlds choice is... get with the program... that eventually gets you fired.

I think the dream is deciding between earthly burning passions and putting those fires out
to pursue a more spiritual path. Spiritual choices are in effect forever

Interesting my dear Watson....interesting. See and i don't recall anything about the actual program. It's funny you say that about passions at this time. How do you let go of passion?

well it helps to take a step back and give it an objective value.
From a different perspective you might be able to consider an activity,
consider its time line and conclude where it's headed, and evaluate the outcome.

Sometimes dreams re-enact life situations in symbolic ways to also give us new perspective.

If I am just an animal I am "programmed" to behave basically in a certain predictable ways.
within a certain period of time. I will only fulfill those basic animal instincts.

If I recognize I am more than just an animal and also have a spirit, it changes the equation.
I re-consider life with eternal values and sometimes say NO to certain "programs", passions or appetites
and make a better choice or Way

Basically you decide to control your passions instead of letting them control you.
Eternal decisions aren't make on our own... in your dream you had to go to a source for "Holy water"
There is only one source for Holy water... Holy Spirit. and for that you need to go to the Source.

Well it depends on the day and mood... as sometimes I can be on on key and sometimes I am batty as the holy spirit moves me to think in many characters. As it kind of fun to go as this kind of thing helps the creative mind grow. But I'd say that we are all kids as first graders.
