Coincidence or random prediction??????

So this isn't really a big deal, but I had a dream in which I was in school and the power went out. The next day in school the power went out. Is this some freak coincidence or has this happened to anyone else?

It is called a prophetic dream. It happens to a lot of people as they get can get pieces to a puzzle of the future.

Totaly happens to me all the time. Thats usualy how I dream, only its very frustrating when I have a catastophic dream because I feel like why do I have to see it but cant do anything to help anyone?

Your dream of a school reminded me of a strange dream I had last night that woke me up. I was living in some sort of large building and the whole population seemed to be housed in it. I lived in my own room just like everybody else.

There seemed to be some sort of Christmas celebration winding down around me when all of a sudden, someone came into the room and said "the enemy" was coming and told me to start locking all the doors. I started to lock these flimsy doors without a key. I was using some sort of screwdriver instead. In the dream, I knew the flimsy doors would not keep the enemy away, but I hoped it would buy some time for the people living in this building to somehow make an escape from the danger I had heard was coming soon.

I don't know if I was dreaming of a school or some kind of large? apartment building, but I felt a strong sense of danger surrounding it, and those living in it.

well, I get catastophic dream too.. and I have learn to deal with the knowledge that just posting something might be picked up by someone else and they can put their piece of the puzzle in and get a fix on an event.. earthquake or storm... but I take the lite hearted approach as we have to joke about things or it get a person down.

I mean Katrina was one that I could of called before it hit.. as I knew once I saw it on tv, but did not discover this kind of form until a year in a half ago... over at dream Central, but me and the owner palehorse got into a fight and he ban me...

I also have prophetic dreams. Usually when I know someone I love is ill or injured. I often hear wind chimes just before I get a call that someone I love has passed. I also know when one of my kids are in trouble. I get an uneasy feeling that something is wrong and then within a minute or two, a phone call. I think its just intuition. Some of us have it and know when to pay attention and others have it and have no idea how to recognize what they are sensing. It usually happens for me when a completely out of the ordinary thought pops into my mind for no known reason and it leaves me feeling like hhhmmm, what was that about?
Anyway, I suggest keeping a journal and seeing how many times you are right. Dont try too hard and recall what the feeling was like just as you had the dream or daydream.
Im going to go out on a limb and say that I had a instance like this and it had to do with Texas being hit with a Major hurricane next month. Lol we'll see what comes of it. Maybe it was just a warning to my self to be better prepared for a disaster.

well I had dreams of a couple already this year... Earthquakes (Washington DC).. and the Joplin and read of the riot in Vancouver and those that followed around the world.

I been doing this for a while so I kind of got use to the head banging and go with the look I know I am odd... but I also know what tomorrow can bring, as i try to peek around a corner to stop bad things... as some of my earthquakes dreams are because i been in a couple in Calif.

I am in kind of a good zone.. as I makes about half sense and my dreams make about half sense so... there is at least 1 penny worth of chit chat in my head at any given time. So all I need is a spark and pop come in.

Sometime during, or after the Christmas holiday season something will happend that will send shock waves around the world of some sort or another. I just can't shake the feeling that when it happens, it will become a life altering event for many.

Its strange, but I have been hearing and reading a lot of things about 2012. None of it is good. I don't have any specific worries or dreams about next year, except the unemployment numbers. Hmmm, I guess we will all have to wait and see. And maybe stock up on basic supplies. (which everyone should do anyway)

I guess we could wait and see if the bombs will drop and deal with the fall-out. or we can call it as we see it... like hey, I am picking up coded messages that say something is about to happen... it kind of hard to read, but if the CIA new about 911 before it happen and did not post it out in the open... then I say they are at fault to a degree as chatter is part of a detection system.

Some of us prophetic dreamers are picking up messages, as I am one of the crazy one who might throw out to much on what I think is coming next ( telling you tomorrow's news today!) as I pick it up on my batty radar or read it in the gossip section of what people are seeing and reporting in there prophetic 2012 dreams.

It is kind of all like I take your and another person and add my to get some 6 sense to what I think is coming.

I am still working on getting things right as batman I tend to sleep upsidedown ... and go haywire.

So what are you picking up? I've heard another financial meltdown, Highest unemployment numbers ever, people rioting in the streets and a nuclear meltdown or bomb. (reactor failure was one of my worries as well as a nasty hurricane) Worst weather on record, millions die in blizzard etc.etc

Anyway, my predic was for Texas this month and probably nothing will happen.

So whatcha got on your batty little antenna ears? And Gadzoo? Whats he sayin?

Normally, I can't wait to put up Christmas decorations and lights, etc. But this year I feel totally detached from the whole festive feeling and can't wait until all the hoop la about Christmas is over. I find this feeling very strange and disturbing for me because it's one I'm not familiar with.

Perhaps it's a sense of foreboding about what is to come over the next 12 months or so, but I don't know for sure. Wish I understood it better.

hey, sometimes known as "deja vu". My friend once said to me "The deja vu feeling means you are in the right place, going on the right path" so even though the lights going out may not seem right, try to find the positive in everything that happens. warning signs. maybe tell someone if they were in your dreams. as soon as i can i always tell people about my dreams.
