You ask me questions of pretend care

Phrased awkwardly and clumsily

Some uncomfortable ones particularly

Meant to take me by surprise

Open up my youthful eyes

You understand not a word I say

Like it's a foreign language

from another day and far away

You raise your voice to show dismay

Like a scene from a dramatics play

Your voice it echoes loud and clear

A move of a hand that brings me near

Again you say to me for all to hear,

" are you innocent? "

" In a sense "

Yeah. I heard my mom and my grandmother talking about all these old Slavic folk songs they used to sing my mom was a kid. I got curious and decided to check them out of youtube one day, and, well they kinda just stuck.

My grandmother never learned it from her father, who never liked to talk about where he was from. However my grandfather started teaching me Hungarian just this year, since he grew up speaking it

Hungarian? O_o ... that is almost as difficult to learn as Chinese. The word formation is extremely complex, so is the sentence structure, and 2/3 of the vocabulary is completely separated from other Indo-European languages; learning Sanskrit is supposedly easier. The Hungarian language also uses up to 20 (!) case requirements, as compared to 7 in Russian (nominative, genitive, dative, accusative, instrumental, locative, and vocative), 4 in German (nominative, genitive, dative, and accusative), and none in English.

But I guess it doesn't hurt to pick up a few phrases here and there. :drool:
