absolutely. i don't mind getting the extra hours, because i can sure use the money and am thinking about my next project on the house. my employer, however, can be a cheapskate at times.

my back is sore. i'm also a little irritated because i found out that one of my brake lights is out. when i pulled into work, some guy pulled up beside me to let me know. i'm glad he told me, though, so i'm gonna have to take care of that in the morning.

good. it turned out that both my brake lights were out, but now i am back in business. i mowed my lawn this morning and got my shower out of the way, and it isn't even noon yet. so, i'm off to a good start today. i may run up to lowe's in a little bit to do some window shopping for, well, windows.

Thank you, mynameisleo-- I did catch a virus, still am in the midst of it. I have been drinking so much orange juice that I am sick of it by now. I still had to work every day of my virus which made getting naps hard. You gave me great advice-- thank you for that.

i swear, the previous owners of this house were idiots. why the hell would anybody want to plant trees less than 2 feet from the fence line, especially when there are power lines overhead? there were six saplings initially, and i dug out and snipped the roots of two of them a year or so ago. when i had put up a privacy fence this spring, the rest of the saplings were buzzed down at ground level, but three of them sprouted out some new branches. so, i killed those three.

now, if only i could find an easy way to defeat monkey grass (or whatever the hell it is) and crepe myrtles.
