What are YOUR Funny/Weird Dreams?

When I was about 3 or 4 years old, I had a dream that I was watching TV in my house and I was drinking milk from my blue cup, and then suddenly I shrunk and I found myself standing INSIDE my cup, which was now lying sideways. I was trying to scream but I couldn't make any noise. Then I woke up.

Another weird dream was a couple years ago, I had a dream where my friend and I found a weird building that looked like a museum and when we went inside, we went up a set of stairs with pictures on the stairs, and we went into a single door. The door went to a small, square room with one door on each wall. We went through one of the doors. The scary and strange thing was that we went through the door and closed it, and when we opened the same door again it would lead to a different room. It was particularly scary when the door closed between my friend and I and when I quickly went to open the door, it led me to a different room and my friend was gone. But eventually, you would come across a door that led you outside, where the game would be over. That was a very weird dream.

i actually find this funny. i read a book that had a room just like that. it was a book in a 3 book series called myst. you enter the first room and close the door and some of the rooms change and you have to find your way to the exit. the point was to be the first to find the exit.

..... . Mostly a 10/10 cuz I would DIE for an awesome dream like that! I hate chase dreams and despise clowns so deeply, but I like to feel the adrenaline rush and the action. If I was in a dream like that and if I ever become lucid, everything suddenly turns slow motion and I get to go ninja on them :infinity:

i would have loved to do that. unfortunately i didn't go lucid even though i knew i was dreaming and had the dream before. i forgot i had it before until i had it that time though. that was the creepiest dream ever. it's funny how our subconscious takes our worst fears and uses them in a dream. i hate it but it's funny.

Well, that would be a good chance to face those fears. You can also learn a valuable lesson out of those too. I would really like a real challenge.....I guess I defeated all the obstacles my subconscious has set up. :/..

Oh and btw, I dreamt last night that I used my finger as a Portal gun.

I can shoot more than just 2 portals!

I remember I shot one on a wall and one on the ground then I stuck my head through the portal on the wall and looked around through the portal on the ground. The feeling was a little wierd, like being in two places at once. :shock:

Other than that, it was awesome.

though i did have a weird dream - chomped my teeth together and broke a filling out; no idea what that was about - but this is even crazier. we just had an earthquake just outside of richmond at 5.8. felt it all the way down here. felt like at least 2 or 3.

@lucid dreamer - Yeah, I heard about that! Everyone's been talking about it on deviantART. I've only felt an earthquake once, and it was a really small one so I only have a small idea of how it must have felt.

No, I actually live in Quebec, Canada.

But I realized last night that I actually did feel the earthquake! I was in my college's library on the second floor when I felt the place shake a little. I thought it was because there were a lot of students walking around, so I didn't think anything of it. But I found out last night that the earthquake was at around 1:53pm, the exact time I felt the library shake!

Actually, I am pretty close to the US border.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint-Maurice,_Quebec Just look at the map on the right and I live where it says Saint-Maurice. But I'm still surprised that I felt it. It seems as though I'm the only one that noticed it, because I asked my family and friends, but they said they didn't feel anything.

i'm not that surprised you felt it. that was a pretty massive eq. not as massive as the 7.0 down in Argentina though. that one almost reached the tip of florida.

I'm still surprised I felt it. It was so faint that if I were standing up, I would never have noticed it, like everyone else.

Also, yesterday afternoon I took a nap and I had two dreams, and in both dreams I had been able to become lucid!

In both dreams I was somewhere in what seemed to be Antarctica and I was on glaciers with my sister. In the first dream I was laying on top of a glacier that was really high up. I looked down and saw that my markers (I love my markers

) were everywhere, and I knew I needed to get them all back. That's when I became lucid and knew that if I fell of the glacier, I could stop myself from hitting the icy water down below, so I pushed myself off the glacier, but sadly the rush of falling woke me up :bored:

The second one I was in the ice waters, and I became lucid almost immediately. I splashed the water's surface with my finger to try to become more vivid, but it was already too late and I woke up >:C

yep. soft music, meditation programs, hot showers, warm milk which made me have crazy dreams one being a nightmare (i'm sure you remember that), pm pain relievers, warm milk and pm pain relievers together... need anything else i've tried?

Have you tried taking hot bubble baths?

Or maybe you could try working out, tire yourself so that you'll easily fall asleep.

can't do a bubble bath due to the perfumes and dies and stuff in them. very sensitive skin to that sort of thing. i even have to use the detergents that don't have anything in them for my clothes because they will make me break out in hives. doing a vigorous workout wouldn't be good for me either because it will make me ache all over for days. i NEED to take exercise routines much more gentler than before because of how it affects me. having the problems i have are no fun. i can't even do yard/garden work like i used to.

Last night I dreampt that my father poured all my skittles out of the car window. Later, my friends and I walked on foot to that part of the highway in a quest to re-obtain all of the skittles. Nobody got hurt, but the skittles were nowhere to be found.

Yesterday I had a really cute dream while napping. I dreamed I was sleeping in my uncle's guest room. My sister came in the room and tried to wake me up by putting a handful of puppies on the bed. There was one puppy in particular that would try to wake me up by licking my cheek and tickling my face with it's whiskers. Although I wasn't able to open my eyes completely in the dream, I was able to see that the puppy was a black and very fluffy husky, especially in the cheeks. He was sooo cute! :lovestruck:

i just took about a 2 hour nap and woke up a short while ago. had a plethora of dreams for some reason. don't remember them all but i do remember 2 of them. one was about the hurricane. it passed over really quickly. the other one i remember was about some relative of Booker T (don't know if anyone knows who he is or not). his relative was trying out for the WWE and one of the trainers was telling a legend about everyone in Booker T's family. after that dream i woke up. i was starting to wonder if the hurricane was actually gone... LOL... which of course it isn't. it's just to the south of the border. winds are starting to pick up more now.

I'm so lucky to live where hurricanes aren't very frequent, although thunderstorms have been numerous this past summer (I hate thunderstorms

) And I'm afraid I don't know who Brooker T is, but I imagine he's a wrestler or something of the sort...?

Oh, and I found something out this morning!

Writing stories increases the vividness of dreams! Writing in a dream journal is practical, but when you think about it, writing stories is better since you don't really have to wait for a dream to write something.

i LOVE thunderstorms. i'm getting so i'm not liking hurricanes ant tropical storms much now though. i am having so much anxiety with irene right now. wish i left town like my sister did now. and yes you be correct that he is a wrestler. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Booker_T_(wrestler)

so, you've been writing stories? are you using your dreams as inspiration or just making them up?

Wow, I've really been absent, lol..

Anyway.. chibi, did you mean writing stories about what you would like to dream of? If that's so then maybe we should experiment on that and see if we get anything interesting.

It will be awesome if someone is able to write an adventure and dream of the experience.

~I also had a dream days ago about me going to an activity with a group of people. We had to take a little trip through a dangerous haunted place at night. Everyone was armed with rolled up newspapers to swat at any ghosts who dare come close. XD :lol:

lol..that part was a bit weird and entertaining :lol:

but the rest started to get scary...

Yup! I've been writing a story for a while, but I stopped for some reason (I assume it was out of lack of interest), and I started to write it again last night. And no, it isn't inspired from my dreams, but rather from my daydreams :lol:

It's a kids story about a soon-to-be mother moving into a house where every object has it's own life (inspired by the verse of the song that talks about a voodoo city and the living kitchen and baking a cake, etc.) (If you'd like to know more about the story, feel free to pm me

As I already explained, my story is based more on a daydream then an actual dream, but that's a really good idea! :yo:

I wish I could dream of my story :dreams:

But alas, it is nearly impossible to do so without lucid dreaming :/

@lucid dreamer - Well the story started out with the mother (Faith) arriving in town (Wiccarik) by train, and now I'm at the part where the household objects are deciding whether to let her move in or not.

here's a good rule for anyone with insomnia. NEVER try to sleep if it is active. it doesn't work. if you get to sleep, you won't sleep good. you also won't dream any. yes i just figured this out the hard way. went to sleep after an hour or so and sleep all night but i feel like i didn't sleep any at all. i feel like it was keeping me up all night even though i was asleep. :yawn:

just don't do it, ok?

i just took a nap and had a weird but funny dream. i was partially asleep at the end of my nap when i had it. i was with i think wwe randy orton and one of my old HS teachers was trying to scold us for something we did but i'm not too sure what. randy said something then my teacher looked at him and was saying something and i pulled my bottom eye lid down and stuck my tongue out and when the teacher looked at me i let my face back to normal. :whistling:

randy and i gave a high five at that. then my teacher said you know, you two are real smart. then randy replied saying no we aren't. and i burst out laughing for real and woke myself up. :rofl:

i have no idea what spawned the dream.
