I had a dream the other day that I was eating a sandwich, and half-way through it, I realized that there was mayonnaise in the sandwich. I hate mayo! Oddly enough, I kept eating the sandwich and didn't mind the mayo so much.

i actually had a dream last night. kind of odd but a dream. i was in the attic of our house and it looked completely different inside. it's not a very big attic to begin with but this dream made it look much bigger than it was. in the attic was this creek bed. there were small river rocks and some fair sized boulders. the creek ran up the middle of the bed and it just dropped off once it got to the roof line in a spectacular waterfall. then there was a jump scene where i was doing something with some window shades. my granddad or someone comes and asks me something about the creek in the attic which i wasn't sure of the answer to. then he asks me something about the american flag and i take a shade and say you see this. and start chanting the pledge of allegiance, get half way through and forget what the rest of it is. and all the while there's some kind of dramatic song playing in the background. we get down to the kitchen and i start helping him with the flag to get it hung back up. then i woke up. i actually had the part about me being in the attic before i think.

I had a dream last night in which I was sitting on a street in a suburbian neighborhood. A woman and her daughter got out of a van up ahead of me, and the three of us began walking down the street. I was beginning to suspect that this was the very same neighborhood that I've seen frequently in my dreams for the last couple of weeks- I just had to see the connecting street to make sure. Upon seeing the street, my suspicions were confirmed and I got really excited about the fact that I could go lucid now. Without even saying goodbye to the other two people, I leapt up and began to fly, but the dream ended before I could get 20 ft up.

OMG! I just had a dream that I was trying to tell you, Chibi, that I finally got Portal 2!! XD!!

And its true, I just got the game a few days ago. Its fun! I puzzle games.

Also, last night, I dreamed I was in what appeared to be an apartment with my family and friends and we were playing some kind of game when someone knocked at the door. I opened it to see a rather large and tall blond woman wearing what seemed to be an expensive black dress. There was someone else there behind her, but I forget how he/she looks like. The blond woman wanted to come in, but she didn't say why she was here, so I blocked her path when she tried to step inside. I told her I would let her in if she would tell me why she was here (confidence not included), and she just smiled. Without so much as a warning, she grabbed my neck with one powerful arm and lifted me up. At that point, I knew she was here to kill me. My sister, along with my friends and maybe some other family members, rushed to my side, kicking and punching at the lady, trying to get her to let me go, all in vain. I'm not sure how, but I eventually escaped and we all ran from her as she chased us down.

Lol! Not so far, I'm at chapter 5 The Escape. I can already sense many turrets are awaiting my arrival. Its so EXCITING! lol, Wheatley is hilarious! A Robot with a british accent, I'd like to own one of those. XD

Why is it that most of my DC's want to kill me?

I had some random people and people I know just stand there and point their finger at me. I would move around and their finger would follow. Creepy...
I think that everyone's subconscious doesn't want them to become lucid. OR maybe you're just slowly turning insane.. XD Nah, just kidding!

Now that you mention it, I've noticed how whenever I become lucid, just for a moment or so, everyone stops doing what they're doing. I'm not sure if they look at me while I'm concentrated on staying lucid, but I do know that they "freeze" for the first few moments of lucidity.

It's kind of fun knowing that every DC is a part of you subconscious and acts differently then you. It's as though the subconscious is a completely different "person".

I remember hearing off somewhere that the subconscious knows more things about you than yourself. Most possibly would have something to do with Dream guides..

i had a dream last night myself. i think it was a continuation of a dream i've been having maybe the last part of it but i'm not sure. only problem is i can't remember it.

As for me, I had a weird dream last night. In the first part, I was sitting on a couch that was flying just above the ocean floor at high speeds towards the Disney Castle (attraction). The sun was setting, and I remember while the couch was flying, I had the flat of my feet touching the water's surface.
In the second part, I was in the castle at the store, but I didn't know what I wanted to get. Eventually, I became lucid and thought how I had already had this dream, but never got to the top of the castle (I'm not sure if I really did have a similar dream before). I told myself that I needed to get to the top before the dream ended, and it's at that point that I knew exactly what I wanted at the store. I asked the man at the counter to give me a Caramilk and a small milk carton. He asked me if I wanted the old fashioned Caramilk. I didn't know that there was one, but since I was in a hurry, I said yes. That's when he took out a rather large ice tray and started to smash all the ice cubes A short while after that, my mom woke me up before I could get to the top :C

There was something out of the ordinary in my dream (and I mean more then the usual weird dreams). While in line to get in the castle, I was bullying anyone that annoyed me just the slightest (which was almost everyone). I would shout at them, calling them really bad names, and I would shove them really hard. And the thing is while I was doing these things, in my head I was regretting it. I had no idea why I was doing those things, and I tried to stop myself, but I couldn't. It was like someone was controlling my body while I was still conscience of everything.

...And the thing is while I was doing these things, in my head I was regretting it. I had no idea why I was doing those things, and I tried to stop myself, but I couldn't. It was like someone was controlling my body while I was still conscience of everything.

Same thing happened to me before. And I've noticed that it seems to be A LOT harder to control emotions while dreaming. Its like when you feel anger or sadness in a dream, you uncontrollably express it in a harsh/dramatic way. In reality for me, its difficult to make me mad, but I seem to get angry real easily when I'm dreaming. And it gets really scary when I lose control..

had a totally weird dream last night. a couple months ago, i bought a microphone for my laptop. i've been trying to record myself in my sleep to see if i have any breathing problems. before going to bed last night, i glued the mic to my wall so it would have a better chance of catching something. well, in my dream, i dreampt i hit the mic and knocked it off the wall. i found it behind my bed and i had to reglue it to the wall. i woke up to see if i actually had knocked it off the wall and it was still there. how weird is that. the dream felt so real. i could actually feel my hand hit it in my dream. i actually dreampt i hit it several times and adjusted the mic IN MY SLEEP. at least i think those were dreams. totally weird huh?

Yeah, that is weird. Only on a few occasions have I had realistic false-awakenings.

Maybe before you fell asleep, you were worried (unconsciously or consciously) that the mic would fall and you wouldn't be able to capture what you were hoping.

no i wasn't worried at all. i used a glue similar to super glue. it wasn't going anywhere without me using a knife or something to pry it off. although i wasn't able to get what i wanted. the mic for some reason doesn't record with my laptop so i'm going to try with my old fashioned tape recorder.

the smurfs try to kill you? why would you be happy about that? i'd be scared of that. but that is kinda funny.

I only have a faint memory of that scene, just an image really, so it wasn't that scary. And my happy face was a sarcastic one. Maybe the laughing icon would have been more appropriate?

And it's only 10:20pm here, but my eyes are soooo heavy! Hopefully I'll have a better dream then those I've been getting these past few days

almost 11 now. i didn't get to eat until after 9:30 tonight thanks to a friend. i finally said good by and was finally able to eat.

the dumbest weirdest dream ive ever had;
i got squashed by a tetris block,
so than i went to this colorful casino - like maze. or night clubish with flashing lights.
the satan person (because this was soppsidly HELL)
was a bee called "queen bee!"
so the only way to live was by limboing under 13 levels of limbo each getting harder. lol i failed at 4..
and the bee sent me across the ocean @ 12:am in this stupid boat with butterflie people in it. than
i was sopposed to be sacraficed to the king bee who sat in a throne in this strange green castle.

i once had a dream of this guy from my boy scout troop named casey saying, "goddammit alex! what the hell do you think your doing?" i was just sitting there, so i said in response, "goddammit casey! what the hell do you think your doing?" then he was all like, "sorry alex, i wasnt talking to you. i was talking to Jessie." then we all laughed for no reason. what made no sense about this dream is that if he was talking to Jessie, why did he call him alex? plus, jesse wasnt even there so it made no sense.

i think i know why i'm having strange dreams. last night and the night before i drank warm milk and took some pm pain relievers . i think it's the warm milk causing them. two nights i've drank it, two nights i've had strange dreams. only the one i just had was more of a nightmare. think i've had it before actually but didn't drink warm milk with that one. i was in some kind of hospital and all the staff were dressed like clowns... scary looking clowns like the joker. only not quite as gross faced. they took me into a "special" room where they wanted to drain my blood for some kind of experiment. they had a big red bucket, maybe 5 gal., and filled it full of blood. the odd thing is i didn't die from all the blood being drained. then one of them said they needed to take more blood because the first one didn't have the right results. they left the room and left me by myself, no guards no nothing. i guess they didn't plan on me trying to escape. that's when i got freaked out and decided to make a break for it. i knew i didn't have much time to figure out how to get out before the found out i was gone. some how i knew where i was going. i was half way through the maze of hallways when the alarm sounded signalling i was gone. now i really had to hurry. i finally saw the exit. i broke out in an all out sprint to the door. then i noticed there were clown doctors closing in on me from all sides. i was finally at the exit and woke up. whew!!!! i don't want to go back to sleep again.

I think I'm getting better at recognizing that I'm in a dream. Last night, I was in one of the dream locations that I visit frequently- The funhouse- and I realized that I was dreaming. This is the second time in about a week that I've seen one of my dream locations and gone lucid. Unfortunately, it never lasts long. For instance, last night, when I saw the funhouse, I attempted to teleport to a different location that I've been to in my dreams- a white sands beach by a still sea- and just as I opened my eyes and began to see the place forming, the dream cut to something else and I lost lucidity.

@lucid dreamer - Oh how I love chase dreams! It's my most common dream! Do you have one? Like for some people, it's falling, or flying, or teeth, etc, etc.

Now that I think about it, I remember that last night I became lucid too! Although it was very short lived

I was in a library and looking at all the books, I somehow knew I was dreaming, and that if I looked at the pages in a book, looked away, and looked back, the writing would change. But I wanted to find a book that interested me instead of just picking up a random book, so as I searched, I quickly lost my lucidity, and from then, well, I forget.

no i don't have a common occurrence in a dream. i've only had two chase dreams that happened only happened twice, my warehouse super hero vs super villain dream and last nights dream (i would rather not have last nights again), and a childhood dream where i was being chased by bear cubs which happened until HS or so. now that i know the cause of my crazy dreams the last two nights, i'm not drinking warm milk again... ever.

And actually, most of my dreams are chase dreams. It's probably because IRL, I prefer to run then to fight, but I still like a good fight in a dream once in a while

Tonight I'm going to try my best to become lucid. First, I'll meditate for about 10-20 mins, then I'll upload a type of song that helps lucid dreaming into my mp3 and listen to it while I fall asleep. Wish me luck!

And my experiment didn't work But I do remember my dream. Only partially, though :/
I dreamed me and my sister were on one team while a group of around 6-8 people were on the other. There were two buildings, one facing the other, and the point of the game was to get the other team's washers, which were in the respective teams' buildings. For almost my entire dream, no one dared to get the others' washers. I slightly remember a chase, but I'm not sure if it happened. Anyways, near the end of my dream, I heard some fat dude from the other team say something like "Hey, no one is guarding their washers!" and he headed for our building. I looked over at their building and saw that no one was near the entrance, so I dashed inside and ran up the stairs. The building was only three stories tall, so I got to the top floor pretty quickly. The top room was pretty dark, but even then I could see the washers plainly laying on the floor. I rushed towards them, but before I could get close, a girl with short black hair from the other team, seemingly in her 20s stopped me (she either tripped me or pushed me aside) and ran towards the washers. I knew that if she got the washers, I most likely wouldn't be able to get them back, so I ran after her and grabbed her legs, making her fall. I crawled over and was about to get the washers when she swiped them. She got up and ran towards the door, but I grabbed her legs which made her fall again, dropping the washers. This time, I was faster then her and was able to get them before she did.

So we went to the club and for some reason Barney was wearing a panties and pole dance with a bottle of beer...... I felt messed up. Then Santa from this weird Christmas movie said to Barney, " I challenge you to a pole dancing contest and they winner gets to have me..... ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????? I was liked hell no. So they were doing the wrongest thing. Santa won and before he ran to me with his little underwear I yelled then woke up. It was soooooooo horrifying but after a few minutes I started laughing my guts out. My mom yelled at me and it was 2:00 a.m. so yeah you can we why you should never watch barney in the middle of the night with your baby sister. Please tell me how you feel about my dream.
