CAPTIVE

I had this dream when I was around 10 - 12 yrs old. I am 35 now! ! ! !

I was in my bedroom upstairs and I was looking out the window. My family were sitting on the fence. The cocker spaniel as well. So, I think, was the cat. I tried to tapping on the window to get their attention, but they looked anywhere but up.
Next thing I know I am in a cage and the room has darkened. A muscular figure with a ram's head tells me if I call out to my family I will not see them again.

I have trouble being assertive, keeping focus, being understood. I have always been somewhat of a loner. Non-conformist, well, I try to be in a non-commital way. lol.

Anyone got any ideas?

Do you seee the conventionality of your family as something fence sitters do? Do you feel that you want to do more with your life and separate yourself from them? do they see you as someone stubborn and rebellious? at age 35 are you a fence sitter or someone that makes a difference because i think you want to make a difference and you don't know how to go about it.

I had a dream many years ago of being captive in a mansion with many other people. The master of the house would give us all an opportunity once every 5 years at a masked ball to escape and to leave. But the people were always too frightened to be independent and to leave on their own steam. One time at the 5th year event I decided to leave the captivity of the evil master and his mansion so I took off the mask and walked out the front door into the lovely sunshine, feeling free and happy.

I am now a committed Christian and have never been happier.
