I have a connection with water and fire. It enhances my mental capabilities, also good for meditating.

Connection..not sure. But I can stare out at the ocean for hours on end whilst everyone around me gets bored of it. It's just so beautiful.

well I can't say for certain. All I can tell you is that's what I feel. At times ever air and earth, but the strongest connections I feel are water and fire. My connection to water used to be stronger than fire, but now I feel that I connect more with fire. It gives me inspiration, strength, energy, and happiness. Water gives me purity, adaptation, and happiness. Both give me clarity as well.

Technically they all have substance though. Air is made up of mainly nitrogen and oxygen, Fire is oxygen, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen, water is h20 hydrogen and oxygen.

You re right but i still believe that its easier to feel earth, water and wind..
We wouldnt be able to feel fire if it wasnt so hot..
Idk but for some reason i like warmth but hate fire..

I love earth too. I have my own connection with all of the elements, but primarily I have always had the strongest connections with water and fire. Earth gives me that organic, instinctual, survivor feeling. Unity, adaptation and love for nature as well.

i believe that you can't have connection with all 4 elements.. maybe each one fills you with defferent feelings but it is only one that suits you best..
for example i can't compare water with anything else ..ti is just perfect

i came up with the idea that every element symbolizes different personality characteristics..
if someone has more than one then more than one element suits them..

What because I have a "connection" with nature? I wish I knew a better word for it, but I don't.

Of course there will always be one that a person connects with most. Like I said before, I find that I'm connecting with fire most at the moment. Growing up I always connected with water most of all, and it will always be part of me. But as we all grow mentally we go through changes and evolve. For the record, I don't believe I have special powers or anything lol. It's just a form of visualization and meditation I guess? I'm not totally sure I understand it myself, but each element has their own inspiration to me.

I don't consider light and dark to be elements. But for visualization and emotions I'll give it a shot.

Light gives me feelings of buoyancy, energy, purity, and clarity

Dark gives me feelings of rest/patience, rebirth (mental change/new frame of mind), and strength.

No that wasn't in regards to proving you wrong lol. It actually says something about Light and Dark under Buddhism. I was just posting it because it's informative, that's all. It describes what I believe about the elements.

haha, I'm far from perfect. I'm mostly very rational, but like I said before sometimes I use this goofy method of coping with things. I know that I cannot scientifically prove that any of this is true. It's also not something I turn to everyday. Just sometimes I lose it, and in the midst of losing it I turn to this to give me strength. It's more sensory and visualization, not the actual belief that if I touch water I will gain special abilities. Maybe consider it to be like a much lesser scale of religious faith? When someone is going through a difficult situation they may turn to God and pray. I believe there is a God, but I don't really ask for help from God. Instead I turn to this visualization/sensory/meditation method to get me through my own obstacles. I don't think I can make it sound rational... lol But it works for me, and that's all I need I guess. Consider it a way of maybe channeling self confidence and empowerment? I suppose that because I know that it's an abstract method of doing just that I shouldn't have to go through the motions of it, but it comforts me. I have to run but I'll give you a few nutty examples of how it works for me.
