Some people say that when you are falling your heart stops then starts up again.

My other theory is that we are astralling then we are coming back to our bodies quicker than we normally do. I have falling dreams too but I always jump as though my heart has stopped beating. Or I was astralling and fell into my body.

I tried a past night regresssion , from a cd a few times , the first time I tried it I kinda though " yeah like this is gonna work" lol.

I tried it though and it actully is an experance , things start going like a movie , and your watching it.
I had someone asking me questions and taking down the information of what I was seeing.
The details was it was in the 1800's.The questioner asked me to look around and see what i saw , and i turned around and saw an old antuqe store where I saw myself this image.
I was watching this woman , I remember her having an old fasioned dress on , it was black and white something around that. hair was pulled up on the top of her head in a bun sort.
When the questioner asked me how I died , I saw her grabbing a shoulder coat , if that makes sence and walking out of a farm house it looked like. Walking down a snowy road side , grabbing her chest and dropping in the ditch of a heart attack.
Its quite interesting , have any of you tried past life regressions ? and experance anything like this ?

All I've had are some dreams and some really odd coincidences that I've noticed.

My friend tried it one me once but she said that she couldn't get me into a relaxed or meditative state for it to work.

I found it worked very well if you both could get your hands on a past life regression cd, but someone with a southing voice , I tried a silia brown once once , and I couldnt do it , cause I found her voice was to hard as you will , even though I like her books and work.

I had one that a male walked you through , actully it was a while back but I got it off a website somewhere , if I come past it ill give the name and name of the cd it was.

But if you come past a past life regression cd , try it out , and another thing I found helpful for myself anyways , is sometimes I feel odd with other people doing it , lol. Use a tape recorder , and leave it on record , so that when your experancing it , you can describe what your seeling or feeling and the recorder will pick it up.

You can then go back and listen to it. One thing is everything I saw , I can still remember very well as if I did it yesterday , and it was a year or 2 ago.

If you both try it out , let me know , I would love to hear about what you both experanced

So far I have went back to , 3 of them , it makes me wonder how many more I have , so I guess that makes me an old soul for sure , lol.

Caramel most spiritual stores will have them. You can try Barns N Noble too. They have tarot cards and a New Age section which would have some of this stuff in there.

They are quite hard to find , but I found mine in occult stores as well as some wonderful meditations.
I use to have a music site as well on here , if by chance you have one , then search pastlife regressions or meditations a list will come up that most people dont even know are there.

Some book stores are also starting to carry meditations and such , the big ones.
I'm in canada so I'm not sure whats avalible in your area , just keep your eyes out in normal places , I find there starting to sell such things like this lately.

I think I started to have the dream because one classmate shared her dream in class then me and a male student had it for like a week straight it was like it picked up where it left off. Dayo- Have you heard of empathy? I believe that is the kind of psychic gift that you have. That is my strongest gift. Its a good one to have but at times it can be very overwhelming especially when you start feeling physical pain or crying and you don't know why so you look to see if you can find the crying person. First of all , I'd like to say I'm very sorry to hear about your loss, and the constant challenges you seem to experance.

Iagree with blue rose of this one, this is a very special gift and is indeed called empathy.
The problem with this is sometimes you cant determin if the feelings your having is yourself or another.
I went through this a few years ago , where if i was near someone that was ill , I'd actully get the syptoms. I've also had it so badly that I actully thought I was dying once , but it was another person I was picking up.
This is a very challenging gift to have , expecally when ditermining who is really sick you or someone else when it comes to a point of picking up illness.
When you have a gift like this it is very important that you ground yourself every day. This helps from picking up so much from other people. You can do this by meditation , and visulizing yourself rooting yourself in the ground and also drink lots of water as well.
The voices could very well be your guides informing you of information. , But because we are human we tend to not listen as well as we should expecally when it comes to death and negitivity.
Even though life throughs some really hard obsticals and challenges , always remember , that the path we walk theres always a reason and that its for a learning experance as well.
We come here to learn and experance things and then leave this world taking it with us.

Grounding is very important even when reading other people, you can still read them but with out getting the the low energy level.
Alot of people that I new along time ago that was in to the phychic work and were very good , always took time inbetween readings to ground mostly by drinking water.

I usually always drink water when I read or something like juice. I try to center myself before every reading and do a mini meditation. The ones that I don't like reading are the ones that try to get into your head to find out what you are going to say before I post it. It hurts my head.

Has anyone seen Orbs before? I believe the other night while I was getting ready to go to sleep I saw an Orb fly past me. It was white with red and blue around the edges. It came out of no where and it was moving very fast. Its the first one that I know I have seen.

I have never seen an orb but all ways see that shadow out of the corner of my eye..you know the one that is gone by the time you look at it..lol I would love to see an orb though.

I have seen orbs before , I even captured them on video camra. The strangest thing about the ones I caught on camra when you looked up you couldnt see them with the nakked eye , only through the camra screen. I guess there isnt to much I havn't seen. Before this formus , its funny because I kept to myself alot , because I feel like I dont fit in the normal world. And yet I have no idea why I see , hear , feel , vision so many different things. So I figured by hind a name I would try to help anyone that was going through some of the things I have already been through cause its so hard sometimes going through stuff the rest of the world dosnt relize exsists. Thats why only replying to me I think twice from rose blue , I was amazed when she wrote , You seem like a very spiritual person. You have no idea how many people pick that up with in seconds of talking with me , no matter how much I try to hide it.

When I would go into phychic rooms ect , there could be 50 people in the room and they would pick me out of them , with out a word from me , quite strange. Even when my sister would go in for a reading she would get anoyied because they would pick me up not her even if i wasnt near her.
I try so hard to be normal or at least act like it and yet feel so outta place. I remember going into a room once and talking with a person , nothing spiritual , until the end of the conversation he said , you know its lonely being at the top.
I said what do you mean , and he replied , he was a medium , and that its lonely at the top , because he knew all the spiritual stuff i was experancing. He let me have a normal conversation with him because he said , I needed it to have a little fun.

So I refer to myself as the odd one lol. Like even now if people new what i was going through on a spiritual level , what i have been seeing most would think i was crazy , lol.
I think I'm tierd of hidding , But I dont see the world like everyone else , And all I can do is wonder why its happened to me ?

Awww the famous shadow people lol. Its the most common ones I know of. They can be freaky , and do in fact starttle you , lol. If shes uncompterble tell her to tell them they are not welcome and to leave. If shes frightened of the shadow person they can feed on her fears and stay around , and she shouldnt be afraid in her own house, its her house. She could start by asking them why they are here? Sometimes some dont relize they are gone , or sometimes they are lost and need a little help to cross over. But if its frightening her that back she should let the shadow person know , that this is her house , and they are gone now and needs to move on. and tell them they must leave its time to cross over.

Was Dark Shadow on DM? The name looks familiar.

Thanks for sharing her experience. You can take pictures of orbs without seeing them. Taking pictures of grave yards work well for that. I use to do it when I was younger this is the first without it being on film. I do have one picture with a beautiful orb/aura on it.

I have a lot of the same questions especially when it comes to the other side making connections with me. The good one's aren't so bad but when the negative one's refuse to leave its hard. Somedays I think that I am going crazy.

I believe that God gives us no more than what we can handle so if he figures that we can handle our gifts and use them for good he allows us to have them.

Also some of this does run in blood lines. It runs on both sides of my family.

Why do people pick up on you first before others. Its like this study that they did in my book some are more better senders then recievers and vise versa. Maybe you are a better sender and of course the readers are the better recievers. Does that make sense? Also it depends if you are open to recieiving the help or just wanting a reading to have one done ect. Some readers are picky on who they read. I don't like the ones that I get a negative vibe from if I don't feel that they will listen to me because they don't really believe there is no point in wasting my time trying to prove to them my gift is real.

When I go into reading rooms , I dont go to get a reading , actully when they aproch me and ask if I want one , I refuse.
I go and listen cause sometimes the have interesting conversations about auras , the other side , spiritual cords ect.
I actully feel sorry for the readers alot of times and get kinda discused how people react to them when they come in.
There is no hi how are you? right off its cant I have a reading! Some people are so into what they want , they dont think about how many readings they have already done or how tierd they are , just that they want there reading. I see lack of respect in alot of the rooms. They dont think about the fact the the reader is also doing it for free. Sometimes it makes me shake my head.
I get picked up because they tell me or my sister that I'm gifted and to trust my intuition.
Its funny though cause I really found where my friends where also , some I have known for more then 10 years.
I have told them things about to happen or ect and when they have they come back for more.

I totally know how you feel. I use to read in the yahoo rooms for free. Trust me they weren't nice all the time some do say thank you and trust me they know who you are!!!!! I had to have different accounts for when I just wanted to chat! I also did some reading on dark dreams for free but I got too busy. Reading is very draining!

I will defently look for that book , the name struck my head , and gave me a yellow cover , lol. I go to a wonderful book store , Chapters , if they dont have it , she doesnt mind ordering stuff in from the supplier. They have a wonderful selection of spiritual books , from I - Ching to dreams , reading aruas ect.
The woman that works there introduced me to supernatural romance novels , and I read alot of books but mostly mythology , haunted places , crime books ect , but never would read romance novels as it wasnt my thing , lol. But my goodness , I read the first one called gypsy lover , and just finishing another book called no rest for the witches , ( I know , I know the titles ) lol. And there actully very good , that I am now hooked on supernatural romances as well , lol

Hi all. I like this thread; it's very interesting. I've just begun to get into spirituality so I'm trying to pay more attention to my dreams and such but I'm having a hard time with meditation--I know practice is what I need but I'm having trouble even going into a meditative state. I will listen to some of those meditation cd's and it seems they are going too fast or my mind will throw some random thought into all of it and mess it up or I'll just fall asleep I almost dread trying to meditate because I get so frustrated. There will be times though when I'm not even trying -- I will be staring out the window or something and I will go into a trance-like state where I feel like I am in a really deep thought mode---is this considered meditation?

Also on the subject of dreams...I remember several years ago when I was about to fall to sleep, I heard someone (a voice I recognized) not really yell my name, but said it very strong and sternly. It scared the shit out of me..I woke up and started crying...looked under my bed, pillow, in the closet. I knew what I had heard but didn't understand. I has happened several times since then. Sometimes the voices are ones I recognize and sometimes they aren't but they always say my name in a very strong manner. It usually always wakes me up but now i don't cry when I hear them. What is this??
