my attempt at an Italian version sonnet!
critique, comment
Winter's night

In Midnight's chilling Ghostly cry,
Sparkling frost, dazzling snow in a million hues;
twinkling landscape of cloud's arctic dew,
reflection of silvery winter's skies,
a gentle snowflake drifting softly by:
Glacial butterfly, etched in frozen blue,
floats through blizzard's nebula, only to die;
it's eccrum grave the blanket of snow.
formed of icicle's claw and tooth,
diamond feather, moonstone's glow,
hidden 'neath heaven's frozen lunar roof;
like mirrored river's surface frozen flow,
crystalline snowflake, hidden within, forever eternal, aloof.
