I think that the dream world is of our own imagination. It contains many mixed memories and thoughts, creating that universe.

@ NocturnalDreamer, congratulations on your lucid experience and accomplishing so much in one night. I dont think I've done that much in one lucid session. Kudos.

And to make my lucid dreams stronger, I simply have to FORCE myself to stop feeling for the dream. (Fear, ecstasy, dread, etc...) and feel my conscious mind come into my dream body. I look at my hands and force myself to bring all of my senses into the dream one by one. Verbal commands help like, "Stabilize Dream," "Focus Sight", or "Strengthen senses."

The dream world consists of our own subconscious mind. The dream world is OUR world, we create it, control it, etcetera, everything we dream about comes from our whole experience in our lifetime (in some cases, past and future lives as well)

As for a lucid dream, once we realized we're dreaming we have a sort of control over this world. With practice, we can cross a barrier from OUR mind, to the WORLD"s mind, this is also known as OBE, or Astral Projection. In this certain astral plane, our dreams become more like a trip to another world. Everything in this world, is made up of every thought and action by people everywhere.

Personally, Ever since I've been looking to astral projection, my lucid dreams have become more stronger and frequent.

We're so used to real life, that we expect things to happen in our dreams so easily but are still grasping onto that reality concept.

For example, my last lucid dream, I was marching through a house and felt like I could do anything, So lifted a glass table and slammed it down, imaging it breaking. I wanted to see it shatter into pieces and hear the crashing sound. BUT instead, it just hit the ground and laid there.....guess what? I slammed it down on carpet. Glass wouldn't normally break so violently on that kind of carpet in REALITY, so you see where reality can sometimes stops dreams from becoming lucid.

lol ti's very hard to accomplish. when i was little i could teleport everywhere i wanted but now i when i know i'm lucid i end up doing the same stupid reality thing. gets really annoying.......so i have to look for help from everyone else in the dream to do stuff for me.....like once i had people adding tails and wings and fangs on me n such.

One time, i recall having a dream where i was in a dark city, feeling like something was watching me. one good thing about the dream was that i was lucid for the first time, and was able to perform the following things.
-Call forth the power to run as fast as sonic
-persuade people by thought
-cause a gun to randomly appear from a random shelf (in the case of my dream, a Spaz-12 Shotgun)
-and beat the crap outta someone, Riddick style

i don't remember my other dreams so much. , got a new dream i had once to put in my dream journal!

I used to think that I was really unique and could do all sorts of cool things in my dreams, but you guys are so much better!

I pretty much feel everything in my dreams. Every pinch, grab, ray of sun, I felt myself drowning a few times and sliding down a 100 foot curvy banister(without falling) to land on tiled wood on my bottom[it was sore though not broken]. I get scared and wake myself sometimes to stop all the unwanted actions in my dreams from happening. Most of the times I let my dreams go where they want to and then guide them back to reality when they are nice dreams or pull myself out of them when they get really scary or disturbing.
I have been a murderer a few people telepathically (I pretty much just told them to die in my head and then they did) and a reoccurring dream that I used to have involved flying on a broom across a small suburban town and peeing on all of the Christmas lights.

In my lucid dreams I ussually fly cuz... well it's just awesome. I beat pple up, but just a super hero, bad guy type of thing. I can run really fast, shapeshift and sometimes I just walk around town in my dreams. So I don't do as much as other pple, but I think I'll try to get more creative with it.

Actually, I just do whatever I want, control whatever I want, I never really thought about it, err, rather, all I have to do is think about it. (One of the first times I made a guinea pig appear just so I could give it hairdos with my mind haha) But I know what I'm gonna try next! Good ideas (though perhaps a bit evil for my taste, unless I'm angry, then you just might explode and then reform so I can kick your ass, lol)! I think some people might be confusing lucid dreaming with normal dreaming, tho.

lots of people have tried to help me (including people in my dreams) but nothing works, except when im not even trying.

Um, I dunno if it helps but I find its easier to change my surroundings instead if straight up teleporting (maybe it is teleporting?) I just think about it. Sometimes I change thing by thing (like if I'm in a house make everything inside disappear inside the house then change the walls/ceilings/floors into trees/sky/grass, and so forth. After I'm done I might decide I want someone there with me to talk to, or that a rock might look good there or I don't really like that particular tree... Sometimes what I create doesn't really look real and I have to concentrate to make it 'real'. It helps also to remind myself that this is a dream and if I can imagine it, it can happen here! Sometimes the lucidness of a dream starts to slip and I have to concentrate so I don't start regular dreaming or wake up (yes I can prevent myself from waking, which I enjoy)... I have had flying dreams since my teenage years, and they have evolved over the years. The are very lucid, as I can feel the wind, temp, colors, and my flight abilities have improved over the years. Last night, I dreamed that I had realized that we are all gods,(the possible introduction to alien genetics within homosapiens in our early history) and that an acended being was sent to me to help me realize(train) my budding potential, not only in flight, but insight to our unlimited potential. VERY interesting dream. I even flew into a deep river at high speeds an with the wave of my arms underwater, caused the river to reverse flow!
My flying has evolved as well. My ability to control take off/landings/speed/altitude/and form of flight (gliding, flapping, hovering, etc.). Allowing others to see my flight abilities has evolved as well. I've read up on flight dreams, and some of it is true.
Has anyone else out there experienced this type of progressive abilities, in a lucid way? I find this very interesting and find very few who experience this.

after you realize your in the dream state, just concentrate on what you want to happen. i dont know how to make these dreams come about. for me they just happen. I will be in the middle of a dream, when i realize that nothing is real and that i am asleep. does anyone have any tricks that actually insure that a lucid dream will happen?

usually i fly by......umm i don't really know XD
in some of my childhood dreams, when i'd fall off a cliff, i would kick my legs back and forht and that would make it almost like i was floating gently to the ground. eventually, i mastered it so that i could fly instead of just fall slowly.
but apparently there are many techniques that people have suggested to me in dreams.
(using a cape, or a blanket, makes you fly higher for some reason.)

The most common things that I usually do when I know I'm dreaming is...
- Spread wings on my back and fly;
- Whenever something nightmarish is about to happen, I always tell myself that I'm just dreaming, so if the nightmarish event occurs, I can just wake myself up, then it never happens;
- I can bend certain elements (like in avatar), but only water and ice, but mostly ice;
- And I can breath underwater.

Lucid Dreaming: First Time
In my first lucid dream, I got so excited because it's the first time i noticed "hey this is a dream!" then
I said "if this is a dream, there's a flower vase behind me" then i turned a round and there was one... then again to test myself
"behind me there's a door!" then i turned around that instant, YES! there was a door!!! I CAN CONTROL MY DREAMS!!!
and for the third time... a woman is taking a bath behind that door! quickly I opened the door and there she was, full of soap...

then someone woke me up to eat lunch! Damn!

Lucid Dreaming: Scary

In my dream I was watching tv and switching channels, then i noticed every channel showed this small hill with a giant green tree with a swing on it. then i saw a little girl in white in the swing... then oddly she ran into the screen, disappeared, suddenly grabbing my throat with her right hand...
then my dream shifts...
I'm in a public market, as i was walking... i noticed i'm having a hard time breathing... feels like someone is choking me, then i figured "s##T! this is a dream, someone is playing with me" I turned around and there was this chubby lady, I don't know her face but she has this piercing eyes... then i said to her "what did i do to you?" then i checked myself if i felt guilt, or did i do something wrong... i felt nothing, maybe she made a mistake entering my dreams haha... so i counted to 3 and woke myself up.

Ok, this is my first post but I hope you remember my name. I became interested in lucid dreaming some years back and consider myself an expert on the matter. Just so you guys know, the hardest part is getting to the point that you can always know that you are dreaming. Once a dream is indeed "lucid", not even the sky is the limit. You are the writer, director, producer, star and prop guy for your own personal movie. The entire world is completely and literally at your command. You can think of anything and know that it will be there and it will. You can see, feel, touch, and do anything or anyone that your heart desires. Remember the expression "if you can dream it, you can achieve it"? In life this is metaphorically true and is a strong inspirational message but in dreams, this is your reality. If you can think it, you are doing it. I have been everywhere and done everything in my dreams. The first problem I faced upon my epiphony was the fact that I became addicted to this and wanted to sleep constantly. Now the problem is running out of things to try.

Of course it's nice to lucid dream once in a while, especially in nightmares, but I also like it when I go to bed at night and wonder what kind of dream I will have and what will happen: it's always a mystery, and it gives me something to look forward to everyday ^__^

or just find a nice view and relax. although the oddest thing is, if i fall asleep in a lucid dream that means i immediately wake up. reverse dreams!!!!!!!

Thats awesome. I have done similar things with the time aspect and have found the uncontrollables to frequently come true in real life as well. I would like to look more into the reversal of the dream world and real life aspect. Sounds almost like remote viewing but even more in depth and interesting.

I'm able to swim underwater without any scuba gear or snorkeling gear. I'm also able to see underwater without goggles or my eyes getting blurry. I also can fly and survive circumstances I wouldn't be able to in real life.

• Transformation (usually into this feral-type beast--similar to a werewolf-type creature, but not)
• Pyrokinesis
• Swimming/Breathing Underwater (this is big, seeing as I swim like a brick in real life)
• Worldbuilding (sounds strange, but in many of my lucid dreams, I end up on a blank canvas and end up building the world as I go.)

MY SWORD SKILLS ARE THE BEST i have 2 main swords...1 that controls all elements(e.g ice,fire,wind,light,earth etc) then my other sword controls time..life and death...things like that...they are very light weight and verry strong...i also have 1 other sword...thats a shapeshifter sword...which changes into any weapon i want
