Lucid Abilities, what are yours?

Usually I'm only dimly aware that I'm dreaming, only once or twice (when I was a kid) did I fully realize that nothing could hurt me and all that. But even when I'm just dimly aware, usually I can breathe underwater or fly. That's actually what usually makes me half aware, lol. Like I'll think, "Why am I breathing underwater? Ohh, it's because i'm dreaming. That makes sense." and then I'll just carry on with the dream.

I'm trying to become even more aware so I can have a lucid dream. Last night I tried and almost got one, but I again just became dimly aware that I was dreaming, although I half controlled a certain part. I didn't realize it though until I woke up.

what sucks for me is the things in my dreams can actually hurt me so i can't even face my dream-fears.

i had a lucid dream where a guy was telling all sorts of lies about me and when i caught him in the act he took a tranquilizer gun and shot me in the foot with a needle. and it was like parralel to the sole of my foot but just under my skin so i couldn't remove it and i couldn't walk either and it was really painful.

besides silly me trying to create a WILD nightmare and that didn't work so well i just about gave myself a heart attack...i'll stick with flying and bing a wolfie

I feel pain in my dreams also. A spider kept bitting me and I couldn't move away so it would stop. Weird...

I've always actually felt pain in my dreams. Disturbingly, I was stabbed in a dream because of my religion... Right in the center of my stomach, just as the knife got into my skin I could feel this painful sting in my stomach and I jolted up in bed and I got up and right where I was stabbed in my dream hurt really bad. I've also been shot in dreams, bitten by animals, etc. Quite realistic. Why even last night I had a dream I was outrunning all these criminals on this long windy dark path and they had smaller "less damage" knives and were just trying to slice my skin open and it felt like giant papercuts on my side. But I'll stop myself there.

i dont have very many but sometime i can fly, but it is more like walking on air. most of the time i know im dreaming when i see my friends from my old school. this morning i was being attacked by alien and was extreme good with that gun i wiplash out of nowhere but that was more of a nightmare. also yeasterday i was getting really bored and hungry in class so i telleported myself into the dinning hall. but these i didnt think it was a dream. sometime i can manage to drive a car but not very well. i absolutly loved avatar (got the espisodes on dvd for my birthday)and daydream about being a bender but never in in dreams. when i know im dreaming i just look at the scenery...I MUST AWAKEN THESE POWERS WITHIN ME!!!1

Oone time a evil sheet with a face on it flung an also pig teddy at me and it slashed my stomach open. it quite funny now but at the time i was soooo freaked out, when i woke up i had to sleep with armour (a pillow over my stomach) and the light on also in that alien dream i was holding a dog teddy right before the aliens burst through the wall! coincidence? I THINK NOT!!!

Haven´t done much lately, but I can stop time, travel throught it soemtimes, transform people´s bodies and mine. Turn everything into a "Looney Tune Town" kind of scenery, lol. I can fly, see myself too and, when not so lucid, can stop terrible things from happening, when my dreams start gettin a lil creepy or so, I can lucidly turn it enough from its course into a less terrifying situation.

By the way, anyone know hoe to improve allof this? Is it just practice as with anything else?

I can fly no problem, call people into my dreams who i feel would help me in a situation. I can fake my own death (not sure if that is lucid dreaming) but it always works and i always win and survive.
I can't focus enough though, last night i wanted to visualise a cheesy ritz buscuit (weird, but it's a start) but it ended up changing into a gold fish or an orange? Need more practice me thinks!

I can always wake myself up when i need to, like i'm telling myself to wake up in the dream, like i'm aware i'm dreaming, if i can't handle the situation!

I found my lucid ability last night, I'm a shape shifter. I'm pretty sure I turned myself into a lion and I scared the heck out of this one lady in my dream. And I used to have a heck of a time trying to fly in my dreams, but last night I could fly with ease.

So yeah, I'm pretty happy, cause before this I haven't had much luck at all doing anything super-natural in my lucid dreams.

I can fly (aided or unaided, depending on the dream), I can summon things but that can sometimes be tempremental. I can lock and unlock things, I can generally use a form of magic and do stuff, but it can be really temprental, as in it will work on some nights, but then I will have to go through weeks of not being able to do anything. Its odd. And can be really annoying. I remember shapeshifting once, but I haven't tried since. Also, occasionally I can sort of like teleport, or move at like a lightning pace which is really quite fun when scaring the hell out of people, but that's just me lol.

I don't have any outstanding abilities in these lucid dreams of mine. My muse/dream guide seems to have all the power within these dreams, like the goddess of this mysterious world I seem to have created within my subconscience, but I'm content with this.

the only ''lucid'' abillity of mine is when i see a nightmare and someone's chasing me/or i have an illness i say to myself that i'm dreaming and it's not real,but after one secondi forget ot again and i'm still afraid

Even though my lucid dreams are either very short lasting or very vague and non-vivid, I have managed to learn how to summon groups of dragons, use really weak blasts of elemental/non-elemental energy, and "teleport"...

and I say "teleport" because I yet not mastered or perfected it: i end up merging realms, settings, etc. then shit gets trippy, extremely confusing, and out-of-hand


I have also noticed a weird ability in my general non-lucid dreams: I don't die, I just switch bodies with another person who is out of danger (so far i am unable to control who, and I do believe it results in the other person's death in the dream).

Although it takes time (in the dream) to wake up, form the person's body into my body, and heal my body from the wound(s), (the last two i only able to do

recently) it seems passive and very easy to me. - Is anyone else capable of this?

I was having a lucid moment in a dream a while ago.
I was having a dream where I was just living life in the big city. Walking around, seeing all the chaos, and I stopped to cross the street and as I waited for the light to turn to the person that meant walk, I started to have a lucid moment where I realized I was dreaming. I still felt the hold of my dream on me, but I started to feel something coming from my back as I was trying to lift up into the sky and this transparent wings ripped out of my back and started to flip as I tried hard to imagine myself flying with wings, and then the sign turned to walk and then the moment was gone. I continued with my dream.

The feeling of the wings and almost flying was great, until it stopped.

I must admit that my abilities seem to vary greatly from time to time, but never in my nightmares. Sometimes, I have to concentrate to simply levitate myself off the ground; while other times, I can control my dreams fully and completely, changing time, place, and people. Yet, always I have full control over my nightmares. I always seem to have the power to banish whatever plagues me from my mind. After that, I experience a peace that seems to nullify everything that concerns me. Unfortunately, I very rarely experience nightmares.

I've only had one lucid dream. In it, once I realized that I was dreaming, I reconfigured a jeep with my mind into a flying motor cycle type thing, and proceeded to fly that through the dream. Unfortunately I couldn't stay a asleep, and the dream literally melted away around me and I woke up within a few minutes.

I can connect with myself with my real life as in i can think about my information about my real life and apply it to my dream
I have a song that i have my close friends sing and then i appear in their dream (and it works)
i have a spell that makes peoples voice disappears
I think i'll try that shapeshifting and what not

well ive been controling my dreams for about 6 or more years and things ive been reading here are unusual for me. ever since i controled my dreams i had a gruip of friends the re-occur in every dream, never met them awhile awake or seen them. i decided that since im alseep ill do wahtever i want since ive got something called manners in awake life. ive done drugs asleep and feel effects, drank, hurt people, killed people...like if i was hurt or someone was rude to me while awake i would go to bed that night and hurt them in the dream. its like asleep im fearless, when awake im 20 year old kid who walks with a cane when alseep i walk fine, no pain....i can go on walks again. im not intrested in flying, all i like to do when dreaming is just let me do what i cant now, thats the best dreams for me

I can normally shapeshift, open any lock, use the Force to blow people away, send branches of some dark thing at enemies from the ground, pull swords out of the ground, and then when my dreams get wild, I can kill people with a thought, and when it gets real wild, wipe out the existence of my enemies. i only did this once, but it was probly the most exillerating thing anyone could do. i started of singing a simple one-note pitch, and then i just bursted into flames and rocketed into the sky shredding on an electric guitar, with everything below me in sight to massively explode simutanously

Usually when I'm lucid I'm only 80% lucid and the other 20% is unconscious. I want to figure out a way to be totally lucid to be able to do more stuff. The only thing I can do is fly. I once met this girl who was in her 20's, and my gut told me that I knew this girl, i felt like I knew her for many years. She told me she had to go to a University and will speak with me later. Funny enough we were in this construction place. The lucid dream itself was so vivid and clear, like HD (lol). I think the lucid world is more than just a place for having fun and creating destruction. There are so many secrets we need to find out first before we try learning how to breath underwater and shape shifting and all that. I'm more interested in meeting Spirit Guides, figuring out past lives, maybe figuring out who that girl was in that construction area rather than running faster, changing weather and all that non fun stuff.

In my conscious I have had only one occasion in which I did psychokinesis without realizing it but shortly before and after this happened in my dreams I had the ability to freeze people and telekenisis which are both extended from psychokinesis plus I am an empath born as such and I take this ability as well as my precognitive and retrocognitive abilities into lucid dreams and in my dreams I have astral travelled astral projected and done bilocation which means being in two places at once literally and always never does it fail that what I dream happens only without the telekenisis or freezing abilities plus if I ever fight in a dream it means that I was fighting in my astral form and I wake up with the scars and bruises and aches from it.[/color]

Agreed. I made a separate post in 'Lucid Dreaming: Make A list' of all the things I want to do in lucid dreams, Other than specific abilities. Some of the items on the list were past life regression, astral projection, self-enlightenment, etc...

I'm really glad that people come upon such things as Lucid Dreaming and the reality of it. Also, people need to realize that Lucid Dreaming is like our "Universe" it's not just stars and planets but rather beyond.

Like I said on my previous reply that I had difficulties being fully aware in my Lucid Dreams, but today was different. I had a lucid dream today, it was dark and I was in this sort of a small town place. I kinda felt like I was dropped there when I became lucid. I was never this lucid before so I attempted to fly and I landed on this tall tree. I landed back on the ground, took out a STOP SIGN and started hitting people. Interestingly enough it didn't hurt them and they didn't bleed. Then I looked back on the tree that I landed on, and tried to use my hands to manipulate the wind, and it worked. Then I tried to use my hands to release the snake ( Like Scorpion in the Mortal Combat Movie) but didn't work. So I finally flew where there are a lot of people and I touched this Asian guy with glasses and healed him so he won't have to wear glasses anymore, and it worked, he was happy. After I woke up it felt kinda good that I learned these things. I noticed that whatever I believed I could do, really worked and whatever I didn't so believe in didn't. Maybe I need more practice to master some abilities. What I'm curious about is, do we create our Lucid world? or is there actually a place like that somewhere in a different universe some kind of higher world or I don't know. Tell me your opinion. Also, do you think that Lucid Dreaming is going to be so popular that in the future with a simple device you can be lucid every night.
