couldn't talk to my crush?

so there is this guy that ive liked for the past year, its started more like a friendship but i like him more than that now. I never have lucid dreams until then and my first thought was "i have to tell him i like him"

we were at school, he was in a classroom with a lot of students and i was standing outside the door. I could see him through the window but his mom was also standing outside with me and she wouldnt let me in.
Ive never met his mom, so thats what makes it weird. I knew i was dreaming but i still could'nt go in to talk to him. so maybe this dream really wasnt lucid??

Any help would be great!

It still can be a lucid dream even though you didn't reach the goal that you intended. Even my lucid dreams aren't 100% controled. Were you scared of what he might say to you? This could cause you to have problems reaching the lucidacy you were hoping for. Also do you think that people might be keeping you from talking to him such as his friends? Any fears can come out in your dreams. If this was the case try relaxing and keep your mind clear of any fears and you will be able to talk to him. I still have this problem. I get scared that something I don't want to hear will be said and the dream changes. Good Luck!

Thanks, yeah that is probably it... it was just weird to have his mom outside the door....

Do you fear that he doesn't want to talk to you but he can't say it? Do you have a fear that his parents might not like you? Anyway there seems to be a barrier between you and him and his mother could be representing that barrier.

well, ive never really met his mom, but maybe she does represent that. thanks for the help!
