No I didn't always meditate. I started when I got the book because I really wanted to visit the Akashic Records. I usually do it in a room with candle light and light relaxing music. Enigma seems to be my favorite music band to listen to during meditation. I have however astraled to meditate when I was having a bad day at work I found myself in a room with two men one was older and I saw him as a father figure to me. And the other was my age. When he held me in his arms I relaxed and became calm. I was able to work and leave happy. So I do have a place that I can astral to to meditate. It is their meditation room.

For the Akashic Records I just saw my current name but I also wonder if we have a soul name that could be on the book or as you stated a spirit name with that said that could be true and you could have seen it. Could it have been in a different language yes I believe I can read latin in my dreams but in real life I can't. These books have been around since the begining of time if you are an old soul or spirit it is possible that you have a book in a different or older lagnuage.

I started when I was 14 and I met this guy in class. Thats when it really started but I guess it rooted in childhood. My parents said that I talked to people that they couldn't see that I had imaginary friends. Two of them have stayed with me for life the two men I was refering to. I have met both of them. One I met at school the other I met when I was older and they both came to a family outing. How I figured it out that it was them is when we talked outloud about the things that we had said through telepathy.

I think we all would want to do everything or learn everything but yet its easier to concentrate on one thing at a time. Finding which one to work on first can be a challenge. I guess I would go with the strongest gift first to make sure its at the top level then delevope the others that need work.

Empathy is a good one to start with. If you can feel emotions and pain you can use them in your readings. If you know that someone is frustrated you can figure out if it is relationship, work, money ect especially if they give you a subject to read on. Like when I was trying to figure out if the girl was pregnant I told her that I honestly didn't feel that she was that the nausea that I was feeling was more from her nerves because she didn't know if she was and that it was really stressing her out because she didn't know if she should keep it or not or how to tell her parents and her b/f. She felt like she would lose the b/f and even though her parents would help her its still not an easy thing to say especially since she was taught to protect herself from pregnancy. I told her for her to know for sure would be the only way to relieve the stress. She took the test and it was negative. She was happy and relieved that day.

Waite- Rider deck is a typical deck reccommended for beginners. I like the Dragon Tarot very easy to read and understand. But I choose that deck because I couldn't look away I had a connection. So with that said try using a deck you feel connected to or pulled to.

You can always learn to be psychic as long as you are open to it. That is what I believe. The book that I have posted several times "The Complete Idiots Guide to Being Psychic," can teach or show you if you are psychic or not by doing the exercises that they provide.

Well, I know that couple times, Ive had spirits come up to me, mostly cause I put myself out there for them, and I've had this happen twice. A elder man wanted to talk to his grandson about something I dont really remember, and I usually dont. And then this older woman wanted to talk to her granddaugter about how she missed her and loved her, and wanted her to do all the things that she couldnt do.... I usually hate that too, mostly cause it puts strain on my mind and my body...Im usually horrible tired afterward...
My friend says I channel the energy of my past lives very well too...
I have had times where I read minds, but its only rarely and I dont know how to make it better or strenghten it. Ive heard like questions from ppl and Ill ask them what they said cause it sounds like a whisper, and they will say I didnt say anything.
I know I have acute smelling...body sprays and perfumes are really strong for me, no matter how little they are used. And I can smell the scent of chocolate through the wrapper. o-o Chocolate smells ok, but I really dont like the smell....

I try to not channel spirits. I reccently went through a horrible attack by one. He does this to anyone he can make contact with. I think he came from a ex's home. There was one that looked over me. She never drained me but she did not have me channel her.

I am telepathic but only to a few people. Two of them I know really well. Sometimes I hear others but I usually don't say anything.

I am sensitive to smells too. I have to watch what I buy for body mists and colonges (if I have a boyfriend and by him some).

Even though you don't have dreams it doesn't mean that you don't get your visions some how. You seem to hear your visions clairaudience I believe that is right word means you hear instead of see.

Its nice to know that you can go back in the past and retrieve past lives. I wished I could do that. I remember one clearly but I think I had help with that.

It's not a spirit name. It's an actual true name. We have one.
Remember in the bible (I'm agnostic, btw) They were talking
about in the Revelations of people spoke in a different language.
They could not speak it but...I think (Been so long since I've seen

I know how you feel. I am to the point that I want to believe I am getting the real answers. I want to make fate happen not wait for it and hope that someday I will find out the answer is true. As far as learning a spiritual name one we've had when we were first created I can believe I can figure out. It was the first name that I saw on the book but failed to remember because I simplily didn't regonize the name that is how my first name that I am known by now came upon the book.

Hey guys,

Finally a place to share this stuff! I figured i needed some answers after my recent situation has gotten somewhat outta hand the dreams aspect of it at least. I used to have pin-point accuracy dreams while in highschool, i felt as though i was starting to really open up into advance perception and was often called an "empath" not quite a psychic but one with advanced perception and could more read the inside of people. After i joined the u.s. army, i guess i had too much going on to maintain my dreams and perception (wars do that). Maybe it was just repression. However recently almost as if it were a switch on my 22nd birthday a couple months ago it all seemed to come flooding back. It hasnt returned the same as it was either, maybe you guys will have some ideas. Ive started falling asleep and while dreaming seeing random (seemingly) images. It has even gotten to the point where i will continue to see these "flashes" or "images" for a while after ive woken myself up. I say flashes because even staring into complete darkess i see almost an aura around the objects im seeing, not the actual items, i can only make out the shadows and then can tell what they are by that. I can only remember seeing like a person here or there, maybe a car, some other inanimate objects. When you realize your seening what appears to be the outline of a man in the dark though... Its somewhat disturbing, but so was forcasting accidents like in highschool. I didnt get a chance to read through alot of this site yet, so i hope this kinda thing hasnt been OVER answered already. Im not seeing just white shadows around the figures, i woke up to the aura being purple one night and blue another. I dont understand how im seeing these colors in pure darkness. Even this just started happening in the last month or 2. Hope you guys have some ideas, cause theres not alot of people who one can talk to about this stuff. Not alot of people who will take your seriously at least. Thanks.

I dont mean to offend to anyone...but Im tired of having people try to force a belief on me or anyone. I've had tons of people do it, and I dont mean to tell anyone that I dont think that their religion or belief is wrong, but I think that not everyone is going to believe the same thing. Sometimes when I try to explain this to people at my school or classmates, they scorn me and think Im ignorant because Im agnostic and stuff....
-.- Again, Im not trying to offend, but if you are going to try and say something in a forceful way to convert people, just dont...it will save you more hurt, mentally and physically...cause I know people who want to be left alone and will hurt for that peace. Just dont say "Oh satan this oh satan that" about something you believe is not true, and just keep that to yourself.
But I do believe that it states in the bible or its often told to people who follow God, the lord, jesus, whatever, that you are to never forcefully convert someone, that many do, you are suppose to try and help with words and only words. And not forceful words, kind, gentle words. Like when someone is hurt or in trouble, ask them to pray and give God a chance. Something like that. No "Oh thats satan, and God this" Do not make everything a 'satan' thing.
And yes, I am agnotic like I said...tho Im more like a Agnostic theist with jewish beliefs, tho I think God might a woman XD

Sorry for not replying earlier. It is possible to see auras of the living. Some people say they see colored orbs of the dead which is probably auras. This is possible for everyone if they just learn how to do it. Seeing a shadow of a man could be a dead person if you know they aren't really there. Flashes or visions can occur at any time. I got to go to work maybe some of the others can help out some more. But just to let you know you are not alone some of these people have been through something simuliar.
