the oracle(s)

Before you begin to read this, I apologize in advance for the lengthy description
My boyfriend and I had a huge fight about money and such yesterday and last night I had a long, very vivid dream. I used this interpreter to look up most of the events/characters and lo and behold the dream was mainly in regards to this fight all except for one aspect of it: at one point in the dream I came across two twin oracles, they were small, almost gnome like and green in color, they were sleeping and for some reason as I crossed their path I felt that I was supposed to be quiet so as not to wake them but as I got closer they did wake and then they put me into some kind of spell where I could hear them speaking through telepathy and they showed me some things in my future, unfortunately I cannot remember any of what it was. What i do remember though, is that before bringing me out of this spell they said I could have one wish, If I were in a lucid state I probably would have asked for money or some other materialistic thing that I am constantly worrying about in reality but since I wasn't in complete control I told them that I wish for peace (as in world peace, I think). Well, then I was on my way and out of the "spell", a bit later in the dream I came back to this same area and the oracles were gone, in their place was a woven basked with strips of paper in it, as I went to look at these papers I realized that they were the wishes of people that had crossed the oracles, I then thought I should not read these wishes because if they were read by human eyes then they would not come true. So I put it down and didn't read them, as I was on my way again I noticed behind me that some other people had found the basket and were reading the wishes, I know they read mine because suddenly I started hearing a song about "peace". So I knew that my wish wouldn't come true and I felt bad for the other people who's wishes wouldn't come true either. Well that's it and then I was on my way to the rest of the dream that was a little more normal. So what the heck, in anyone's opinion does this mean?

Perhaps the loss of the wishes denotes a subconscious pessimism about the state of the world. That the wishes were ruined by other people (the proverbial "them") is emphasizing a feeling you have that we aren't, as a group, concerned about our actions and how they affect others.

I find it interesting that the oracles showed you your future, but you don't remember any of it. Did you wake up with any specific feelings about what might be in store for you?
