an old crush appeared in my dreams

ok so i used to like this guy a couple of years ago and we currently became closer friends. he's told me outright that he likes me. i have a boyfriend now though otherwise i'd go for it. why am i dreaming of my old crush though and not my boyfriend. i love my boyfriend. i know i'm still young and it's probably only teen love but at this point i'm totally in love with my boyfriend. i just can't seem to understand why i keep on dreaming about my old crush. it's not like in my dreams he and i are doing anything we're just hanging out and in the most current one we were hanging out and i went and sat on his lap before i had to leave and typed into the computer he was on 'give me a call later' but i couldn't just tell him because my mom was sitting on the other side of the room. why did this happen in my dream it just confuses me. help if you can please....
