Dreaming about my crush, yet calling him by another name?

Hi I'm a girl who had a crush on this guy (let's call him A) for solid 2 years, liked him since 4 years ago. We were classmates for the past 2 years and we were pretty close friends. This year we aren't classmates anymore and I don't get to see him often. I told him of me crushing on him last year but was subtlely turned down, we never talked about it again.

SUDDENLY yesterday I dreamed of him. We were in the same classroom and I was acting cute in front of him and pulling at his arms and he was smiling and laughing. But I suddenly called him but his best friend's name (B), but he wasn't angry but just laughed and joked and said nevermind. We were together, doing some things together and I had the feeling in the dream that we were already in a comfortable relationship. Then I called him by his best friend's name again. He smiled and said nevermind.

It's all too weird because I never came in contact with his best friend and in the dream I actually knew what was going on, like the situation that we were in relationship when in reality we are not in (much) contact anymore, we see each other but we don't say hi or anything in school...

It's really embarrassing but what could it mean??
