ex boy bestfriend?

So when i was little i had this boy bestfriend who i done everything with; spent christmas together, went for meals, always at his house and everything. Our parents got on so well, and we were bestfriends from we were 8 till like we were 11. We became bestfriends because he lived on my road but when we got to highschool we grew apart. He wasnt in any of my lessons.
So in the school holidays i began to have wierd dreams about him, like we became bestfriends again, then this boy who i used to like and him both proposed to me and i chose my old bestfriend. In another dream we was together and he saved me from a bomb and said we were together forever.
In real life I have saw him everywhere I went and the teacher sat him near me in a few lessons. My mum always said she wanted me to marry him, and my aunty said we would end up together.
I never thought about him, so why do I have these dreams about him? It's freaking me out?
