Past Love interest in bed with other girl

I just awoke from a dream of a love interest. He had invited me over for the night and was ignoring me the whole time. We were suppose to play a game of soccer, I carried a yellow and green soccer ball with me around his house. I knocked on the door of his bedroom and the door opened. He appeared to be asleep and alone in his bed, but their was my top - which I own in real life - and a pair of small purple sandals for a girl which were too small for me feet. I had no collection of having my current boyfriend in this dream and was devastated over seeing a young girls flip-flops on his bedroom floor. I sat on the living room floor carpet and turned on TV. I started sobbing and got up and looked out the window and could see the sun rising over the ocean. I returned to the living room and curled up into the ball on the floor and starting crying and couldn't breathe. My boss appeared and sat down on the couch and asked me "What's wrong?". I told him about how we were suppose to play soccer and how much I love this person and that he was always with other girls. I woke up crying and in tears.

Now in reality, I'm currently with some one but still have strong feelings for this man I can't shrug off. He was my best friend in high school and I always had an obsessive addiction to my feelings towards him. We have kissed and have been intimate but we never said i love you to one another. I caught him in bed with 2 other girls before, not that we were dating, but one of them was my best friend and also a much younger girl, symbolic of the sandals. My boss and I often discuss personal things but I never talked about my love life. To add, I'm invited to a party tomorrow where this man in question will be. He's been texting me how he's so excited to see me again and asks me to be around more. I removed him from Facebook and he recently re-added me and shows up on my profile a lot with the box that I believe shows the people who most recently viewed my page. I drove by him last night while I was with my boyfriend, who despises him. We looked at each other as I drove by and he waved, but im forced to ignore him or my boyfriend would be furious.

This dream was very real to me as it relates entirely to my real life. But why would my boss appear and what's up with the soccer game and ball?
