I've never posted here before, so I'm not quite sure how I'm suppose to start it out, so I'll just jump right on into it.
Last night I had a dream that, I was in this room with a crack in the ceiling. (It was quite a large one, which you could see through, and even fit something smaller through )
My recent ex was on the next level above the crack. He didn't say anything to me, but he reached his hand down through the crack as I reached mine up. He proceeded to hold and softly stroke my hand.
That's pretty much it.

I kinda have an idea of what it may mean, but I'd like others thoughts.

I don't know if this is right but just my thoughts.
The crack could resemble the break in your relationship. You said there was a gap in it, maybe that suggests that you think there is still hope that you can get back together, which leads onto the hands holding?
