Dreaming about ex-boyfriend

I currently have a boyfriend who is wonderful and I love him but I have never have dreams about him. I keep dreaming about my first boyfriend who I was in love with but I haven't seen him since 2006 and we broke up in 2003. Every time we see each other in my dream its as if we saw each other the previous day. Why do I dream of him and not my current boyfriend? He was my first love but he is married with 3 kids now. We do still keep in contact sometimes but only with emails and he knows I have a boyfriend too. What does this mean? Thanks

I have a very similar situation.Does your current boyfriend have an aspect of some sort that might remind you of your ex? & Maybe what they say is true - that you may never forget your first love. Did that relationship end on good terms? Are you going through a lot of life changing situations with your current boyfriend? I remember looking up once that sometimes an ex boyfriend showing up in your dreams while you're going through some life changes or some stress it can mean that your subconscious is trying to let you remember of a time that life was much simpler - hence, the ex boyfriend. I remember having many dreams with my ex, and at last when I was under so much stress, in the dream he came up to me and kissed me. Dreams like these don't necessarily mean that you miss them or want them back. Something your current man does may just take you back to a time when your ex use to do it, or say it. It's perfectly natural. I'm guessing you DON'T have any feelings for your ex. But all in all - I hope you find your answers! Best wishes.
