End of the World

I had a dream last night that I was standing outside with hundreds of people. It was night and we were on land but looking over the water which was calm. All of a sudden a gigantic meteor came up from the equator and crashed a few hundred feet away and started a huge fire that spread quickly. I noticed meteors were flying through the air and they were all very close to the earth. I immediately thought I have to get home to my children and began looking for my mother. I found her and she couldn't walk very well due to her age (she is older in the waking world but doesn't have that hard of a time walking). I told her I was going to run ahead and find the right boat and tell them to wait for us which I did. I had to run over many floating docks which were very unstable. I found the right boat (there was many boats all leaving the docks) and asked them to wait for me and my mother. The captain of the boat told me to hurry up in a panicked voice. I went back to help my mother and I couldn't find her. I kept calling her by mom and got no response. So then I called her by her real name and a preacher who was preaching to a group of people stopped and looked at me and asked if I just said her name. I said "yes, that's my mother do you know where she is?" He told me that she fell in the water and drowned and they were having a service for her right now. I then turned and ran over the unstable docks, not caring if I fell in and drowned myself. I jumped on the boat as they were leaving the dock. The captain asked where my mother was and I said she had drowned. The next image in my dream I was standing on land by train tracks waiting for a train. The world was on fire all around and everything seemed to be melting. People were frantic and running around. I knew in my dream we were under attack, but from who/what I didn't know. An old man showed me and other bystanders a video on his cell phone. It was golden metallic scarab beetles walking. They were not really beetles but tiny nano machines. As they walked they dispersed actual plaque type insects. The old man then told me that the scarabs themselves could take the shape of anything on the planet. I replied, "if that's true we're F@!#ed". He looked at me wide eyed and said "yup". That's when my alarm went off and woke me up.


Not sure what it all means, but I would appreciate any insight. Thanks.
