2 adults get hit by a car in front of their child

so I dreamed that me & 3 of my friends were shopping in a certain city when we see a crowd of people in the parking lot staring in awe at something. As we got closer, we see 2 dead people pinned under a blue car with their small child (a girl) standing in front of them looking very sad (but not crying). That family was just random people (they didn't resemble anyone I know in real life). Alot of the bystanders were very shocked and some of them were crying, and I wanted to cry with them but I didn't because I don't like experessing my emotions in public. This wasn't a lucid dream but it seemed very real, and I was started crying after I woke up (even though I didn't wake up until some time after we saw that accident). I'm curious as to what this dream could've meant because I've never had a dream that made me cry this much.

And no, I never witnessed such a scene in real life, nor have I ever lost a loved one. Plus my mom & grandmother & I were planning on going shopping sometime this week in that same city so now I'm kind of terrified of this happening to them. To add to that, the night before, I dreamed of a white owl, and I read that in some cultures, white is associated with mourning and death.
