A haunted house

So a few months ago,I had this dream and I remember every detail so clearly.During the beginning,I was running from a serial killer with a hockey mask on and a knife in one hand.He was wearing all black,save for a gray belt near his waist and I was running as well,I was wearing a red sweater and a black tank top with black skinny jeans and converse and I was wearing a grey belt too.

It also felt like I wasn't the one running,more like I was just observing it happen right before my eyes,like a movie.The background looked like a street I had saw when I was younger,the houses looked like one from those older shows,like one from 'The Brady Bunch' or something and it was almost dawn during the dream.

All of a sudden I was in my old house yet it felt different somehow.When I went into the kitchen,my old table was there along with two chairs,one facing the opposite.I had sat down in the one in front of the counter,putting my legs up onto the table and I had just then noticed that the whole wall(from the ceiling to the table)was covered in portraits.They were all blurred except for one that was right next to me.It was a either a man with a small ghost body.His eyes were pitch black with the left eye closed,like it was dead or sleeping of something.His mouth was toothless with a few exceptions here and there and he was laying on a one-armed,violet couch with violet draping behind him.There was wooden framing around the picture and it looked as if he were breathing,like he could actually move. He then started talking to me and,at first,I wasn't scared but then it was like the scene changed and I was,most likely,the twin of the first person and I was examining him but when he started speaking,I was scared to death of him and then my mother came with coffee and in her pj's,acting like nothing happened.Then I woke up.

Could someone PLEASE tell me what it meant?Its the strangest dream I've had so far and I don't know what to make of it.
