Dreaming of the dead

Postby joyk12 on Mon Jul 23, 2012 1:46 am

Hi,
I need someone to please help me with a dream that one of my family members are having now for a while and is very uneasy about this dream First a bit of info so that you will understand where the dream is coming from.. My youngest brother committed suicide last year by hanging himself under my older brothers lapa at his house. Now my aunts oldest son (my cousin) is having this bad dream where the hole family is standing around a small dam and we are all talking and pointing at something inside the dam. Every time my cousin (one having the dream) tries to see what is going on we all block him so that he wont get to see. Then when all of us were away from the dam he went to look but all he found is an empty dam not even water inside. Then my brother (the one that committed suicide) takes him by the shoulder and tells him there is something by the lapa (where my brother died) he wants to show him. As soon as they get to the lapa my cousin (one having the dream) gets scared and then he wakes up. He says that he forces himself not to look inside the lapa cause he is to scared of what he will see there. Please can someone help with a prediction. thanks.

First Id like to say im sorry for youe lost I too lost someone to suicide. My Uncle had killed himself and for a long time my brother was having horrible nightmares also.

The empty dam signifies repressed emotions or feelings that need to be released. Maybe your cousin has not yet been able to let go or express his feelings of this death. Maybe he is feeling that there are somethings that people are not yet telling him. (the family keeping him from seeing into the dam) Did your cousin have this dream more then once?
This dream may also be a way for your cousin to move on to the next steps of his grief. Is he feeling that there are things he needs to say, this may be the time to say the things he wants to say or to over come the fear of looking and look. That may be what he needs to do in order to get this dream over with. Or try really hard and to tell him that he is dead and i will miss you but its your time to go now. For my brother after a long time of not being able to get rid of these dreams he was having he came to us (family) for help. I started off by cleanseing him and his bedroom of any negative energies. Which you learn about through meditation of the chakras. Alot of the times these nightmares leave behind energy of there own that is negative. ( My Oh My im sure I sound like a total nut case right about now..) So yes we did this and burnt lavender and white candles, asked for strength and also lite a candle for our loved one who is now gone that they find rest. Everything to really just put a calm on everyone and the whole place. Doing things like this gives that person something to physicaly do and to say when they are scared or uncomfortable and it really does wonders. Gives that person back control in a place they feel they have none. I wish you and your cousin the best. I hope all works out . Happy Dreaming RoseRed
