Same concept of monster different situations each time

Postby danjd on Sat Jun 30, 2012 11:06 pm

The newest nightmare I have had was about (The Thing) not the super hero the monster from the 80s and the new prequel. The part of the nightmare I remember is several people running including me but I am watching outside of my body and as we are running down some hallways the thing catches me just barely making contact that is where I fall against the wall and remain slouched upright while on the floor and as I sit I am watching 3rd person as my skin rots and my internal organs even my eyes pull back into my skull but its as if I'm still alive and the whole time I am sitting there I start thinking its ok the thing can't get me for a little longer. It felt like I was inside my own skeleton if that helps at all. It was enough that I couldn't go back to sleep until I finally turned the light on out of paranoia. So I am trying to understand what this means to me it could mean I have created a husk for people to see and that maybe I am not being me maybe I am afraid of the world?

I don't know what your regular monsters are but you stated the same concept of a monster
that's what I don't fully understand - monsters stand for different things and so the nature of the message could change significantly depending on what it is
also different situations is significant.
To dream that you are chased or followed by a monster represents aspects of yourself that you find repulsive and ugly.
To turn into a monster in your dream suggests that you are becoming someone who you are ashamed of or someone who you longer recognized. :?
Or the dream may also be showing your true character.
you might need to change your attitude and your ways. :x
if the recurring theme is you keep turning into a monster then definitely i would have a closer look at how i treat others and how i think of myself - self-esteem, etc.
keep in mind that becoming the thing is a metamorphosis - a time of great change in your life - is this happening? :o
since it is a repulsive change this suggests you aren't ready for whatever is happening to you just now :worry:
there is a pun in that the monster is the Thing - consider someTHING is changing in your life :?:
