Being turned into a demon, unable to communicate?

Postby dinofs on Wed Jun 27, 2012 8:06 pm

So I was having a very pleasant dream. Nothing weird, nice, not really remarkable.
Then the sweet old lady I was talking with turned into a sort of pixieish demon. She tried to eat me, but I fell back and kicked her. Then she bit me, which turned me into a demon like her. She was laughing, and I ran away. I went back to my brothers (real brothers) and grandpa (not real grandpa) but they hated me and tried to stab me. I tried to explain, but they couldn't understand me and so they ran away.
I was then forced to eat someone. I kept screaming for help, but no one could understand.
It was very scary and chilling, any words of advice?

I had a dream like that about a month ago. I was dreaming about being a Ghost Rider, and like in the movie the person becoming the Ghost Rider is unable to control their own actions because of the demon. So there I am, killing people with little to no effort, and I'm stuck inside my own head trying to get control of it. Maybe your dream means that you feel like you don't have enough control over your own life. Maybe that's the same for me too. Although I have to admit that I kind of enjoyed the dream.
I believe that whatever doesn't kill you simply makes you... stranger.

Is there an issue of morals/ ethics separating you from people close to you? The feel I get is of something about yourself you have mixed emotions about. On one level, you recognize it as harmless-sweet, nice. On another, it scares you because you're afraid people who are important to you will condemn you for it. Whatever it is, it's not something you feel you can change about yourself.

The main theme of your dream is isolation and helplessness, the sub-theme is violation, being violated and being forced to violate others and or being under the influence of others.
the sweet granny images I would imagine represetns someone who you see as grandmotherly - doting, sweet, outwardly appears to have your best interests at heart - all of this is then betrayed by the attack.
The bite is very reminiscent of werewolf lore, where a bite communicates the afflication to the victim. Your dream illustrates that you feel your contact with the granny element has trasnformed you into a demon, even though this is not in keeping with your nature.
You feel this affliction has isolated you and that the people around you do not understand you, nor will they help you. Essentially you feel damned, betrayed and alone. Your emotional need is understanding, forgiveness and support.
Without knowing more about the real-world situation is difficult to say much more as the dream could reflect a number of situations perhaps. A shot in the dark though, given all the media attention to drug-related cannibalism, would be perhaps it is a drug related situation
