Disc in my Foot

I've had this nightmare a few times, and each time the same thing occurs.

I'm running on my school's track and I feel a sharp pain on the bottom of my foot so I sit down and take a look at it. I notice something poking out of my skin and it breaks through. The disc is medium sized and golden and when I try to pull it out, the pain increases and so does the size of the disc.

Normally I wouldn't think twice about this dream, but I've had it multiple times and randomly throughout the day my foot will start hurting in the same place. I'm curious about the meaning in this and why it would hurt even after I wake up.

hmmm thats a strange one. i cant think of any such meaning, unless this gold disc means something significant to you.
maybe next time you have the dream, think about why it is a gold disk, and not anything else? who put it there?
Also, try asking someone else to look at the disc instead of pulling it out yourself,
it could be a metaphor that your brain is trying to get through to you;
sometimes trying to solve your own problems doesn't work, it just gets bigger. you need assistance.
