such a beautiful thing

Postby mikuz on Thu Jun 21, 2012 12:34 am

i just woke up from this dream and would like to know why i had it.......it starts off in a beautiful forest with clearances full of birds butterflies and an occasional stream.Im in a gorgeous white flowing gown and i sart to prance about laughing and singing joyously.out of no where a white unicorn with a horn at least a yard long, trots in and prances in a circle aroind me. of course im standing there mouth agaped and i manage to breathe the words “such a beautiful thing.” as soon as i utter the words the uncorns eyes turn red and his body turns pitch black. i stand there shaking as the unicorn puts its head down aiming the 3 feet long horn straight at me.it paws the ground a couple of times before it throws itself toward me.i then leave my body and watch as my white gown turns do a dark red as i dangle from the unicorns horn atop its head....

A unicorn usually represents a person's one-sided view of things...in other words a narrow-mindedness that clouds your perspective.
It also symbolizes insight so perhaps the black and white unicorn image - dual opposites - suggest you are not perceiving a current problem or issue with objectivity.

Horses and sometimes unicorns represent "the strength of man". The unicorn's horn in this dream is a phallic symbol (which means an object that symbolically resembles a penis) , and represents the man that violated you at Sea World. He violated you with his masculinity even though he may not have used that specific body part...so don't get hung up on that symbol, as this whole dream is symbolic. When you met him, did you think he was white (good) and then he turned black on you emotionally?

Read all of your dreams, and you will see a common thread. It is sad your dress that was white is now red in your mind. It will get better if you get some help.

The unicorn most likely has nothing to do with the molestation. I think we should get off that subject. If anyone other than Mikuz is that concerned with it then try getting in contact with her parents. Otherwise this is starting to get inappropriate.

Unicorns in dreams usually symbolize something in our lives we feel the need to be perfect to have. If the unicorn turned evil with red eyes once you tried to get on top of it then it most likely points to anger, rejection, or negative emotions once you tried to get closer to whatever this special thing in your life was.

Have you tried getting closer to a boy at school who wasn't nice to you afterwards?

Really? Well, then stop talking to me and let the dreamer answer my question.

Akward way to die...I can't take something serious like that it sounds pretty funny actually...but anyway sorry about that...let him research it a bit...dreams aren't always going to have a meaning and they aren't always going to be literal...thats the strange thing about dreams...always unpredicable

has no one thought about the beauty of the actual dream instead of the unicorn? For example, the white dress? what does the beauty signify?

The beauty is her innocent chaste youth she enjoyed prior to discovering that the world is cruel.

I agree. What's interesting about this dream is that she is in awe of this unicorn before it turns on her. In my experience people dream of unicorns when they feel the need to be perfect for someone else. Like a love interest they put on a pedestal. It sounds like the dreamer was admiring someone or something that ended up embarrassing them, turning on them, or abandoning them.

It sounds like they liked a boy that didn't end up liking them, or that got their hopes up about something that ended up embarrassing them.

The reason for the inital beauty she felt was to display she was enjoying having the attention of a man in real life, and then this same man who made her feel beautiful turned on her...It is all symbolic of her molestation event ...that is clear as day.

Perhaps, Under. Hopefully, Mikuz will show up and shed light on her life beyond that tragedy so we can see what else might be going on her life. I'm sure 14 year-old girls have lots of things going on.
