God Awful Dreams, Ants, Spiders, Blood...(Please Help)

Last night I had two vivid nightmares...both unrelated however.

First I dreamt that it was my birthday. My birthday isnt for 2 months though. My friends were planning on surprising me but I ended up finding out. When I was at the party, it was dark, and we were all dressed up in Halloween-type costumes...we had a great time taking pictures and laughing and talking. Later on I found the cake a close friend of mine made, but when we went to cut it, ants (larger than average size) suddenly started crawling out from the inside of it. Acting like it was nothing, we threw it away but after wards, coming from the window blinds were enormous spiders crawling down the windowsill. It lasted about a minute before the colony of spiders finished their walk, but then we heard maniacal, witch-like laughter..I tried to close my eyes in order not to look but the room I was in was still visible, even with my hands over my eyes.

I woke up and it took me a good ten minutes to realize it was a dream, and in about ten more minutes I fell back asleep into another nightmare.

I dreamt that my family and I were having dinner, my distant cousin who I haven't talked to in months was there, but was having some sort of emotional strife... He made an argument about something I can't remember...he then yelled that he couldn't take it anymore and took a kitchen knife and began cutting his arms. I began yelling and crying not for him to do this and that I loved him but all he did was watch the blood ooze from his arms. Then I awoke again.

Perhaps the second dream tells you that you should keep better contact with your cousin or relatives to listen more probably.
I'm no expert just my thoughts, my sympathies I hate creeps aswell :/. Can't figure out the first one out for you though.

Your dreams are connected by what caused them! In both dreams there is a mention of eating. So you can be pretty certain that your dreams were caused by a bad doze of indigestion and bellyache! The ants and spiders indicate that you felt like vomitting in the first dream, that why you had to be woken. The second dream was also caused by stomach ache.
What did you eat or drink before the dreams? The mension of a birthday party indicates that you had similar experience before.

I ate dinner late the night before, I waited up for my husband to come home for his job and ended up going to sleep not to long after. So that could be the case. Thank you.
