what does this mean??

so i've been having dream like this for the past 3 months or so, and i can't tell what it means.
i'm walking out of a convenience store near my house, and its pouring rain and its dark outside, but not pitch black.
in the dream, im looking where im going, but since im dreaming of it i can see that there is someone behind me. they have a rope. then in the dream i hear them so i start to turn around, but not before they wrap it around my neck. im still aware of whats going on, but i dont fully recognize whats going on. i try to move and get out, and they just pull it tighter. they forcefully push me to the ground, and im bleeding. then they take out a knife and stab me in the stomach, and run away seconds later.
until i wake up, all i see is me laying on the ground dead.
i think about it during the day at some points and i zone out for minutes at a time.
what does this mean? please help!
