recurring serial killer dream

I have been having a recurring nightmare for over 10 years, it is very frightening as it involves a serial killer that knows I am there. I never see the serial killer as he is always in the dark hiding somewhere stalking a new victim. It appears to be in another country where I do not live, it reminds me of somewhere in the UK as the sky is always grey and gloomy and there are many towers of council flats where it all takes place, they are high-rise and have long corridors outside - almost like an old hospital. The scary thing is, it feels as if the serial killer wants me to see what's happening. I also never see the victim either, the last time I had this dream it was in a loose gravel car park and I could hear the scuffling of a lady's high heels as she was grabbed across the throat from behind and dragged, yet the whole time I don't see the killer or the victim just the surrounds trees etc. but I know what has happened. Any ideas what this means??

Are you maybe feeling stressed out or pressured into a situation? Sometimes daily stress can cause us to have reoccurring nightmares that involve very dark and sometimes surreal elements. The serial killer may even represent a part of yourself that you've been avoiding. Do you have a bad habit or addiction that you've been saying isn't really there? Perhaps the killer is really yourself trying to overcome this challenge and the victim is that challenge which it why you can never see it. This is only my thoughts on the matter and I'm in no way a professional though I do hope this helps.
