Chased by a young cow

I dreamt that I was parking in my old office building compound in the dead of night. there is this young cow ( I say young, coz this one's not a calf anymore and is only beginning to sprout horns ) standing there. I decide to be silent so as to not attract the cow's attention towards me. However, somehow she hears me and turns towards me and starts moving in my direction. I am always alarmed by these things and I start to run even in my dream. I charge into the staircase and start ringing the doorbells on all the doors - but none opens as they are all vacant - I rush on to the next floor and so on - the cow is following me up the stairs. Now I know this animal is not chasing me in anger, merely following me - yet I am scared. I keep trying all the doors until one finally opens and I am let in... I tell this person, that you really must do something about cows getting into the stair case like this.. beyond this point, I cannot recall teh rest of the dream - but I do remember myself leaving the flat - perhaps in the morning.

I cannot help wondering what this dream means. This is nt the first time I have seen myself being chased by a cow... and yes, here I have to say this, I always find that when I am running in my dreams, I cannot run..my legs feel heavy and I keep stumbling - is this the same with others too ? Will someone please tell me what my dream is trying to tell me ??

I am no expert, but I have read of 'animal helpers' and you may have just met yours. I have met a cougar in my dreams more than once, I also ran like you did with the same poorly working legs! In my case, I think the cat was looking to me to make my next decision and was looking to me like a questioning expression of 'well are you going to go this way or not?' the cougar didn't chase me, but it seemed to want to be next to me.
