hello,my name is barberchk. :wave:

i tend to dream alot,but lately something different has been happening to me. :idea:

im wondering if theres anyone who can shed some light on this.
i still dream while im asleep,but...... :dreams:

while im trying to fall asleep,i tend to like kinda sort of dream or imagine or some thing like that, :whoa:

but i cant control it either,just like your dreams.it just happens.
i dont want to imagine or dream,i just want to fall asleep and i do,but its like im already dreaming before im even sleeping. :shock:

is that lucid dreaming?????

if not what is lucid dreaming?????

Hi barberchk.

Lucid dreaming is when you are asleep, dreaming and in your dream you know you're dreaming. I hope I wrote that so it makes sense lol.

oh, and the thing you're talking about where you aren't asleep, but you start to kind of imagine or "dream" kind of, well...
thats been happening to me! it's weird, huh?! Cool, but weird....

anyways, I hope that helped you. I'm not really sure what its called though when you imagine or whatever....

Yeah. Sometimes before I'm going to sleep, my mind just wanders into weird things but I let it keep going.

I believe that if you use the least amount of brain power you can, you will fall asleep faster. Just let your mind wander, and almost every time you will fall asleep faster than if you try to manipulate your thoughts. :dreams:

although i never manipulate them.
i just let my mind run.

Lucid Dreaming is when you are asleep and you're dreaming and you know it is just a dream.

for example: you have a dream that you just won the lotto and you buy yourself a very expensive sportscar and you zoom around every where showing off your car. all the while you are sorta laughing to yourself thinking, yeah this is a dream.. I think I'll stay asleep and just keep dreaming it. :clap:

you can actually start WILD dreams (wake induced lucid dreams)i think that's what it means.....welllllll it's when you are awake and those little images before you fall asleep you can use those to start a lucid dream! it's even better than normal lucid dreams because you can make anything you want to! i had one where i was swimming over a coral reef and another where i was flying through my school

i dont know if its just me or my imagination but i have noticed different shapes kind of like floating,flying or something like that.
alot of the times i see a current problem or situation play right before me.
sometimes it has a nice ending,sometimes it doesnt.
its wierd isnt it??? :drool:

its kinda wierd to lucid dream.. i do it all the time. its very annoying when you just want to fall asleep and then you end up dreaming! when your about to go to sleep , repeat to yourself that you want to know that your dreaming. and hopefully while your dreaming, wake up menttaly ( sounds confusing!)
